Nice find. Quite spot for camping with a great view. If you arrive after 4 a city worker will be by later on to collect fees.

We got to the park at just before 10 a.m. Sunday and found not a soul anywhere to register and/or pay to go hiking. No list of hours or attractions ... nothing. So, we left.

Just minutes east of Gallup. Plenty of room at each site. Scenery is tremendous. Check event schedule for the park, some major events come here.

I can't recommend this campground. You MUST call ahead for reservations (505 722-3839 - if the phone is answered), and an employee will meet you to provide a key for bathrooms - if the employee shows up. Lots of deferred... More

Yes. Roads paved into park. Some gravel in campground.
