Open After Your Train Ride - What A Concept
Jun 2021
Except for the official Cumbres & Toltec station gift shop, this is the only gift shop in Chama that is open when train riders (who arrive at 4:30p) are actually able to visit. We bought six t-shirts at a great price. Worth a look!

Nice shop
Jun 2018 • Solo
This is not your average souvenir shop. There is a huge array of items from clothing, to jewelry to kitchen items. Prices are reasonable for a shop like this and they have specials that make the prices even better.
The owner is quite pleasant and knowledgeable about the town.
It's worth a look.

Cute gift shop
Oct 2017 • Couples
Very nice options for gifts and clothing. The owner has actually opened a new store across the street, as well. It also has neat gifts....Elk something??? I would definitely stop at both of these shops for upscale options for yourself or a loved one!

Not your ordinary gift shop

Beautiful & unique items from clothing to candy to tees. A must stop when you visit Chama. You'll find items you usually would find in nice boutiques.

Why do we buy souvenirs?
Oct 2016 • Couples
What's something that we get to do as adults that we never got to do as kids? Buy souvenirs, of course! This is a nice little shop run by a guy and his doggy. He's a year-round resident and he's been in business for 12 years. Lot's of kitsch, plus some nice Woolrich clothing. My wife found a very nice sweater and he gave us 30% off cause it was the end of the season. Nice guy--hope he stays in business for another 12 years.

Impressive Array of Items; Welcoming Hosts
Jun 2016 • Couples
Finding a shop of this quality when one is not expecting it is one of many reasons that traveling is so much fun! After arriving in Chama in the late afternoon of Wednesday, 15 Jun 2016, my wife and I drove downtown to walk around and take photographs. After enjoying the depot and interesting flower garden adjacent to it, we walked down Terrace Avenue (US 84) and saw this interesting shop. We really enjoyed looking through the impressive variety of items, including clothing, framed art, crafts, and unique picture frames. We found some very nice items to purchase. When completing our purchases, we enjoyed talking with the owners and learning more about Chama. I highly recommend taking time to go to this shop.

looking for souvenirs
Jun 2014 • Couples
Very pleasant British lady was cashier and we spent time talking with her. We do not usually purchase souvenirs at all but found ourselves buying a tee shirt AND a hat. They both fit and we love them. Mine was the hat with pic of grey wolf, hubby's was his style teeshirt (plain back and small emblem on front) which was also of the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad. All in all a cute little shop where you could spend an hour looking!
