Seriously - a Site to See
Sep 2019
If you find your self in the middle of the desert on the Turquoise trail keep your eyes open and do not miss this...very cool origami sculptures in a desert garden engineered perfectly with beautiful lines as if made from actual paper and larger than life. There is also a museum on the premises if you choose to go through it too (we did not due to reservations made in Santa, Fe). If you are headed to Santa Fe on this trail from the Albuquerque airport it will be on your right around Cerrillos, NM.

Lovely Outdoor Sculpture
Oct 2019 • Solo
This high desert sculpture garden sits near natural rocks that beautifully frame the artwork. Based on origami concept, the artist and his staff we’re welcoming and very friendly. I love the work and will return!

Beautiful sculptures, must see on the Turquoise Trail!
Oct 2019
A hidden gem on the Turquoise Trail between Santa Fe and Albuquerque. A peaceful, beautiful area with large metal origami sculptures of all kinds, with the highlight being a tall tower made up of over 1000 origami cranes. Great photo ops of the sculptures, the gardens, and the surrounding area. Leave about an hour to spend time looking at all the sculptures, there is also a small gift shop. There are also some little towns you can visit nearby on the Turquoise Trail.

Tranquil, Peaceful, Wonderful!
Sep 2019
Only an hour from ABQ, this is a beautiful, tranquil setting. The oragami sculptures are breathtaking. The gift shop gallery walks through the method the artist uses and some of the motivation, and the staff are wonderful. Highly reocmmned a visit! We took a picnic and made a day trip of it.

And I'm sure you know...we're by donation only, so don't worry about a fee when you return. We would be pleased to have you as our 'returning guest' during Balloon Fiesta weeks! And we'll be open again next summer too.

Fun stop along the tourquoise trail
Sep 2019
The sculptures are amazing. Out of no where is this private sculpture garden you can walk through at your leisure. Not much to the shop. But take the time to stop. Recommended donations......

Great little stop on the way to Santa Fe
Aug 2019
If you take the "scenic route" from Albuquerque to Santa Fe instead of the highway, this is a great place to stop about halfway along the way. Near great artist town of Madrid, too. The sculpture garden takes about 15-30 minutes along a nice walking trail, in a particularly scenic part of the high plains desert. Small gift shop where they let our kids try their hand at origami, and the artist happened to be there that day. :)

A Stunning Oasis of Peace and Calm in a Spectacular Desert Setting
Aug 2019
A tour of the 25-30 sculptures in this private sculpture garden takes about an hour. The works are modeled after origami pieces (some of the original paper versions are on display in the gift shop). They are set in carefully selected locations to take advantage of the natural rocks and vegetation which are enhanced to give the effect of a Japanese Garden. The pieces themselves are stunning and the walk through the garden is peaceful and calming. It is just the way to step out of today's crazy world and into a calmer, more peaceful place. Don't miss this! Admission is free (although a $10 donation is requested but not required-it's money well spent). Open M-F in season only.

Amazing!!!
Aug 2019 • Couples
Amazing really doesn't begin to explain how wonderful this is!!! We just happened to see in while we were driving on Hwy 14 in New Mexico outside of Santa Fe. My husband and I were blown away by the detail in the sculptures! His favorites were Rock, Paper, Scissors and the bells on the tree. I found an amazing piece in the gift shop! I love my paper weight. It's a bronze piece in the shape of a wadded up piece of paper. It's beautifully simple. We can't wait to come back next year to see what else the artist has designed.
