Appolonia and Ardenica private day tour
I did this tour with my father and simply cannot recomened it enough. Our guide Isuf and Gazi our driver were 2 of the nicest and most courteous guides ever. Isuf was full of knowledge and did not stop talking, bit also knew how to disseminate the information in a way that was fun and informative without being too much. He took us to an ancient ruined city and a still running monastery and the spot he picked for lunch was sublime.

I'd highly reccomend using VATO Tours when your in Berat. We got exclusive entry into amazing churches and mosques in Berat. Afterwards we went to apollonia. Isuf was amazing! Full of history, energy with a positive personality. We had an amazing time with him and his driver Gazi. After travelling for 3 years now a lot of tour companies just want to show you the same thing take you to the same shops. However not Isuf and his team! He showed so much passion for his city and its history! He was born in the castle woahhhh ! It felt like hanging out with a friend. With only a short stay in Berat we are looking to extend to do the waterfall tour. Highly recommend company.

The tour was well organised by VATO, and had assigned Mr. Henri as our tour guide for our Albanian adventure of Berat, Shkoder and Theth. Mr Henri was well versed with the history of these places and give us a detail tour of it. We had lovely lunch with Freddie and Nina at Berat Castle and also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Isuf, the CEO of VATO. Thank you to all

I very much wish I had not come into contact with this tour company. They were unprofessional and showed absolutely abysmal service.
I selected the tour of Lake Ohrid that passes through both Albania and Macedonia.
The company sent a 'guide' who had only been to the area once before and had no knowledge of any of the sites. He missed critical sites that were part of the tour, particularly the Monestary of St Naum. I was really looking forward to this and twice asked the guide about it. He stated we'd already been, which I found odd but I had no internet or way to check. Upon my return, I realised he'd lied and contacted this company to query why this would occur.
Their response was utterly unhelpful and while they acknowledge that the service was not as advertised they only offered a 25% refund. This is in no way helpful when it cost me the opportunity to see a site I will now be unable to return to or see for years. It also doesn't reflect how uncomfortable and unpleasant the experience was.
Other aspects of the tour were also very professional, such as the state and smell of the car and my being asked to lie and state I was a friend of the guide at the Macedonian border. He told me it isn't legal to have foreign tour guides at Lake Ohrid. Athough I'm not sure whether this is true, it made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.
The guide also showed little concern for my enjoyment of the tour and we did not stop for lunch until 3.15pm, having started the tour at 8am. I had told him I was hungry at 1pm.
Other details included the guide forgetting to bring any Macedonian currency so being unable to buy tickets to the castle, which were meant to be included in the tour.
I would absolutely avoid using their services. It was an uncomfortable and underwhelming experience and was not in keeping with the service I received during the rest of my trip in Albania.

Book a private boat trip for my family from Vlore, and after half an hour waiting at the rendezvous point (a crossroads), the pilot tells us to wait there, starts asking us if we need life jackets to catch them, and delays us picking up constantly. Speaking to or company VOAT, they defend that it has been a misunderstanding for the language, then that it has taken another group and is at sea already... everything seems lies and excuses. Who gets into the sea like that 6h? Trust none. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

When my friends and I decided we wanted to do a wine touring day in Berat, we needed to find a driver, but not just any driver- a driver that after 5 minutes was our friend - Isuf B. was one of the best parts of our amazing day.
First up: Nurellari. Beautiful grounds and atmosphere and such amazing wine that we left with 5 bottles. Then off to Luani where we enjoyed delicious meat, cheese and wine. We ended the day in the beautiful garden of Cobo and loved every minute of the wine, snacks and most of all the lovely staff.
And of course Isuf was with us every step of the way - laughing with us as if we had known each other for years.

My wife and I took a tour out of Berat with Visit Albania Tour Operators. Our guide Marjo and our driver Milo were fantastic. They took us for a great tour of Tomorri Mountain. What a beautiful view. We also got to take a hike to the Bolgova waterfall, which was cold, but a very welcome and refreshing experience at the end of a hot day. We really enjoyed our tour with Visit Albania. Everyone was very professional. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed spending time with our tour guides. We would recommend this company to anyone wanting to take this tour.

We had a local tour arranged in each city through our overall tour group. Our guide in Berat was Isuf and he was very knowledgeable about his city, not only the history, but also about how people live today. His English was good as well. Our group guide even gave him a boost to pick fresh local berries for us. The only one small downside was that he smoked a few times during the tour, but he did move slightly away from us when he did it.

We spent two days on individualized tours run by Usef and Silvi and enjoyed every minute. The first day, they took us on a beautiful hike through vineyard, orchards, farmland and hillsides, ending at a local family winery where we met the owner, tasted the wine and raki, along with fresh figs, cheese, olives and walnuts from a nearby tree. We finished with a spectacular lunch at a restaurant run by the vineyard owner’s brother. The next day, Silvi took us to a waterfall, canyon and village and shared the places’ histories and his own appreciation of them. Both Usef and Silvi are smart, thoughtful and attentive young men, a true pleasure to spend time with. We could not have been happier with our tours!

My wife booked this tour for my birthday and the tour included two different wineries. They key to having a good experience is to have a good guide abs Randy delivered. He is a great English speaker and personable young man who was flexible and accommodating. He even had a surprise birthday cake for me at the second winery.
If we hadn’t planned out the rest of the trip in Albania we would have taken more tours with Randy. We would highly recommend him.

They are organised by the municipality for special days
Like Independence day ,Liberation day Tourism Day and some other days .
We just ask to the municipality and they told that there are not folklore dancing show for this moth .
