Played 01/2024, 2 player group. Arrived 1.5 hours before our teetime and were instantly pushed to the first tee. We asked for a range but caddies said not allowed, range is full. We asked to wait because we have a lot of time but not acceptable. When we got sraight to the first tee caddies noticed we have no balls. Ofcourse we didn’t have balls because we were push straight to the first tee without questions.
We need to warm up before round and now we were forced to hit in 15 minutes of our arrival (1h20min before our booked teetime). Then they called to clubhouse to bring balls. Balls were charged 490,000vnd (20$) per 3 balls. 3 poor Titleist (trufeel) golf balls for 20$..this is your notice to bring own balls if you consider to play here.
The course isn’t spectacular, below average to compare for example european courses.

Costs: greenfee, rental clubs, golfcar 5.500.000vnd/233$ per person, not include caddietip. Caddietip after round 400.000-500.000vnd (20$) per caddie.
Summary: totally overpriced, bad service and experience, average course, not recommend to play even nine holes.

Upon arrival I thought I would find a nice clubhouse, but alas. The welcome was warm and the changing rooms were fine. After receiving the rental golf set and the assigned caddy, I started playing here despite the rain showers. Which allowed me to play between showers. In my opinion, the course is far too expensive for the beauty of the course and facilities. At €150 for a round of golf, this course is absolutely not worth it. This way you keep it exclusive because there were hardly any players on the court.

I play off of 6 and phoned ahead to ensure I could play from the long tees. I asked that I could be put into a group so as not to play alone. They said it was all ok. No problem. When I got there I was assigned a caddy and said to him that I would like to hit some range balls first. He said i would have to tee off in ten minutes. I arrived ONE HOUR before tee time. Then I was taken to the "1st" tee and asked to tee off. I asked where the rest of the group were and was told no one available. I said that he could take me back to clubhouse as did not want to play. They then radioed someone and was told another player was available. So I said ok. Other player was total beginner. Played off short tees. Other guy took 16 shots on the first par four! Total shambles. Caddie did not know yardages, clean clubs or mark balls. (other caddy did). Really awful experience and very uncaring attitude by clubhouse.

Beautiful location on the beach and while the location itself it quite a distance from the main town there is plenty to do and buses that will take you from VinWonder next door to downtown if you need. Happy with the hotel experience - the staff really does try and help you any way they can. Particularly the lovely Ms Khanh at reception - who can’t help you enough and Jenny from the restaurant who also was excellent.

Firstly, it’s not a 27 hole course as advertised. It’s 18, 40 range balls cost 100,000 dong. As a solo golfer I wanted to start early to avoid the big groups.. no deal, I had to start at 8am. The result was a crazy slow 2/3rds of a round of golf. I went in after 11 holes. No marshaling on the course, no playing through courtesy. I could have easily tees off at 7:15 instead I was ushered into hitting range balls. While the
tee box sat empty.
No one at the front desk seeded to understand what the problem was. So it’s quite a frustrating experience. Then as I sat in the bar waiting for my shuttle, they came and challenged me because of my guest review of the pace of play, because I said it was slow. Not cool.
The actual course is nice, maintained well, there is nowhere to sit down at the tee boxes so I ended up standing around for 10-15 mins at each tee. There is no discount for being a Vincom member or playing several times during your stay, and you also can’t charge anything to your room even though you are a Vinpearl guest. It’s all a little weird. I don’t think I’ll bother bring my clubs next time. Here are some photos and a shot of the price structure if your interested.

Resort style course with 3 nine hole tracks. All three are fairly similar - fairly tight, tree lined holes. Some holes open up a bit, there’s some limited water hazards. Condition of tees and fairways is great, though the greens were pretty slow when I played in Feb. The twilight offer when I was there was unlimited after 2:30pm which is great value - I played 27 holes, and the course wasn’t very busy at that time of day. One big bonus: the rental clubs. Titleist 913D2 driver and woods, Titleist AP2 forged irons, Vokey spin-milled wedge (56 degree) and a Scotty Cameron blade putter. Can’t ask for better than that!

My wife and I had a very enjoyable 18 holes while staying at Vinpearl Phu Quốc. The course is set up for an enjoyable round, but would be quite challenging if you played off the blue or gold tees. The cost is on par with any quality resort course around the world. The hire clubs were Titleist irons woods and a Scotty Cameron putter. Our caddies really made the round extremely enjoyable. Their knowledge of distance was spot on and quickly worked which club we should use. We got lucky with the weather which was perfect no rain no wind not too hot. The round was also very quick which we love, 18 holes in under 3 hours.

I just paid US$420 for two people which included green fees, rentals of equipment (for two) and caddy fees. Apparently it is the holiday price so there was a premium. Especially we were not guests of the resort and the fees were very high.
There was nothing special about the golf course - I expected sea views given it is located in the island, but this golf course lacked character, and no sea views or nothing.
I wouldn’t even pay this price in one of the most expensive countries to play golf - let alone in Vietnam in such a mediocre golf course.
Not recommended at all- stick with water sports on this island.

The price for the course is ok but if you have someone who only wants to follow they will charge
you 25€ this is way too
The conditions of the course is good but the greens are extremely slow.
Caddie was ok not always good with the distance left. ;(

And watch out for the monkeys they are stealling food out of the golfcar.

The English of the staff can be approved...

No much booking we have been by ourselves all 18 wholes.
