I am staying near Mango Bay resort and been 2 years already working here in Phu Quoc. Most of the time we buy our groceries from the town which is 12km away. Not until when the PQ Little Mart has opened as a grocery store, we were the one who benefited from it.. this means for any emergency cases, running out of stocks we can immediately buy personal items from them. Shampoo, sun lotions, gel, hair conditioners, toothpaste, any kitchen supplies,some beers and sodas, also some fresh peppercorns or any local made products are available to take home. Take note, all items are in affordable prices. This establishment was owned by Mr. Doi and his wife. Don't be shy to ask them for your needs as they are willing to assist you. I would highly recommend this shop to the guests who stays near Chen Sea, Mango Bay, Freedomland, Cocopalm and some resort to the north. It is situated along side of the main road before you turn to the road to Mango Bay Resort.

I first met the owner, Doi xuandu, during a visit to Phu Quoc in 2103 when staying at Mango Bay resort. He went out of his way to make our trip the best ever. One can really tell that he takes great pride in his work. I contacted him a couple years later to ask Doi if he could send me some pepper that he went out of his way to get for me during my visit there. We corresponded over a couple emails as his English is excellent and he had it sent to my home. The PQ Little Mart is a great place for tourists and the locals to shop. Well stocked and staffed with very pleasant, helpful people. What a great asset to the town. Make it a point to stop by if you are in the vicinity and you want to support local folks that run a 5 star mart. Seriously!

We recently visited Phu Quoc Island and happened to stay near PQ Little Mart. We stopped for some reasonably-priced essentials (e.g. water, snacks, sunscreen) but left feeling as though we'd made a friend with its owner/operator, Mr. Doi, and his family. In addition to providing a great selection, he offered valuable local advice for our stay. When we return, we'll definitely stop-by PQ Little Mart again...for goodies and just to say hello.

it is our second time in Phu Quoc and of course we did not forget to stop at PQ LITTLE MART to purchase for the personal things , mineral water, sunscreen, special local pepper. Very friendly and helpful owner, Mr Doi and his wife would be happy to help you for everything.

Doi's and his wife's store are very conveniently located, professional and friendly and will be a nice stop to shop beverages, rice snacks and other daily consumer goods on your way to the North west coast or just before returning to your resort if you stay at the Mango Bay or BO Resort.

A very small market but it always saved us when we need a coke or water!!!!
Really convenient! !!!
Easy to find because it's on the main street on the crossing road to go to Mango Bay.

We visited this little store whilst staying at the nearby Mango Bay resort on Phi Quoc.
Its a great little store run by a family and has everything you might need from shampoo to beer !
Its a short walk from the resort along a quiet road brimming with local life and colour......we stumbled upon a small wedding !
If in the area check it out for a taste of a small Vietnamese business .....we bought some amazing local grown peppercorns ...Fantastic and a bargain !!

We were staying at Mango Bay resort which is quite a way from the main town. We needed a few bits and pieces and were recommended to visit PQ Little Mart. We are very glad that we did! They stock an amazing variety of goods: all the way from essentials up to luxuries. The very helpful owners even bagged-up some packs of pepper corns for us so that we could take them home as gifts for friends.

Much better and bigger a 200m
May be was alone in 2014 when many review were written. But now in the street in front down 200m, you find 3 shops much bigger and more choice.
