The food is so good! A treat compared to the prices of local food on the main road but totally worth it. My carnivore friends were so happy with their food: beef steak, lamb shank, duck breast, duck leg, beef bourginon, that we all went twice in a few days. As a vegetarian there's less choice but the goats cheese salad is delicious and so are the French fries, as you would expect from a French kitchen. Great service and atmosphere too.Thoroughly recommended.

We went to coco bar twice in our 7 day stay as it was conveniently close to our resort at arcadia. The first time we made the mistake of eating dinner here. We Shouldve known better just by reading the quality of the menu, with everything mispelt, poorly named and with overall presentation. When the food arrived I already lost most of my appetite, terrible presentation (side salad was 2 pieces of discoloured tomato and a peice of soggy lettuce), the burger was a chewy bit of meat in between stale bread and the chips were even worse (straight out 5 years storage in a deep freeze most likely !!).
The drinks however, were most splendid and well priced as well. The frozen bananas cocktail and the mojito were our fav picks! Well priced and ice cold beer aswell. Mango and banana smoothies also A+++ some of the best we tried on the island (and we tried a lot !!). Translation issues with some of the waiters did occur but were fixed up without trouble .
8/10 bar but dont try the food.

Visited here at least 4 times. Happy.hpur is amazing, coconut rum is the best and can't go wrong with 15,000 beers

Visited this bar for a drink with my husband. Asked the waitress for a wine list. Ordered a beer for my husband and I was still undecided on my choice of wine. She then started to laugh and turned to my husband saying you ask for a wine list and then order the cheapest beer. Shocking and how rude is that!!!! Will not be returning to this bar.

Visited this place one night with my boyfriend. Nice music and easy atmosphere. People of all ages inside. I would not call this a party place but rather a place to sit down and enjoy some nice cocktails. We tried mojito and caipirinha and they were good, the caipirinha was maybe a bit too strong for a girl of my size though.. We also tried the food (sandwiches) which were quite basic (this is primarily a bar, not a restaurant after all) but still delicious and fresh. Would recommend this place for a relaxed evening with good drinks. Priceclass maybe a bit above our backpacker-ish budget but not too hefty.

I came to Coco Bar with a friend right after a walk through the night market, which was only a few minutes away by foot.
What drew us to this place were the homemade rums. I started off with the passion fruit rum, which tasted good. I finished it within 10 minutes and would have had a few more rums easily, but during our 90 minute stay, the staff pretty much ignored us despite being their only customers (there was another table that left just after we had arrived at 9:15 PM).
Really disappointing as many of the other reviewers praised the service here. We had much better service at other bars in Phu Quoc (namely Drunkn Monkey and Moe's) despite those establishments having many other customers on the nights we visited.

My wife and I have been in three times this week, once just for a drink, and twice for food. We had excellent service in lovely surroundings at a reasonable price, I can highly recommend the beef luc lac, delicious.

We have the bar 8 years already we never had a review like this one.
Maybe because you don t speak french but no worries french can speak english and are open mind.

Visited last night a group of 6 with 2 children. Fantastic food and service . I had the bolognaise bake and it was delicious. My husband had tuna salad that looked beautiful and chips , actually home made chips ! Very good price too and good atmosphere . For all of us came to 1.4 million dong so roughly about £50. We will be visiting again.

Coco Bar is a small Bar/café about 500 metres from the beach surrounded by restaurants and other little bars.
The staff are friendly and will advise if there is a long wait on your meals (apparently 20 minutes was a long time to them).
We had no issues with the food and drinks the cold and flowing.
The venue has a pool table and also sells Shisha if that’s your thing.
The toilets weren’t 5 staff but they worked and were clean enough.
