This was one of the nicest white sandy beach walk along that I have ever visited but the junk and trash laying all over it,also the services there were poor quality.

We drove 50 minutes on scooter to see this beach. Depicted on Instagram as a crystal clear, white sand area, you would be disappointed to find miles of garbage (shoes, bags, bottles you name it) strewn along the shore. We skipped going in the water as there was icky bits of trash well into the ocean. The restaurants are touristy... More

I was so disappointed when I got to Sao beach, although it is beautiful the entire beach is littered with trash. The water is clear and the sand is white but it just took away from how pretty it could be for me! It's still worth checking out though!

Perfect for spending whole day there to relax. Very safe for the children playing with the sand as the beach is not deep.

Unfortunately this beautiful beach was dirty when I went there. There was quite a lot of trash on the beach and no one picking it up. It was quite sad as it is a beautiful natural beach.

Tons of garbage on what could have been a wonderful beach. Even the private part "Paradiso" is quite dirty.

in my opinion it is the most attraction must-visit in phu Quoc island. water so clear and warm. but not much accommodation around. we'd better to take more than half day here. we got here by a rent car, about 30 mins from centre of town.

This is such a beautiful beach, but sadly suffers greatly from litter. There are many beach side shacks/food places to eat and get a drink and you can hire a subbed if you wish. When we were there there were quite a few jellyfish about so didn't venture into the sea much.
