A variety of cheap clothes, street food and seafood can be found along this 300 meters walking street. This is certainly a great place to get entertained if you need buying, eating and dining altogether. Food are really cheap with reasonable price, though the hygiene condition cannot be compared to that in the hotel (well at least we didn’t get stomachache after all haha).

Other than the street snacks, local Vietnamese restaurants for famous Pho noodle can also be found near the night market, with several little marts selling daily necessities and different types of souvenirs.

Needless to worry about the transport, as groups of taxi drivers will be waiting for you outside the night market entrance. All in all, this is a must-visit place at night on the island, but get prepared it will be crowded and packed with lots of people (always mind your personal belongings during visiting).

I found the tour to the Night Market such a refreshing activity to do in the night. I was there during the Tet period and it was super active, maybe that's how it is everyday. Lots of local items available from souvenirs, to jewellery not forgetting the delicious food. So much to mesmerize about in one place. Foreigners were in plenty and restaurants packed with people trying out different cuisines. There is uniqueness in this market that is hard to explain. Better add it to your schedule while in Phu Quoc and experience it for yourself.

Lots of stalls selling fish and meat.
Good place to visit but there wasn't much for me to eat as I don't eat meat.
I wasn't staying that close but cabs were plentiful to get back from the market.
Lots of fresh seafood restaurant places along the market also as well as the stall lined streets.
Some kids laying on the floor begging.
Take small money as theres a pay as you use toilet which the girl I was with used.

I had not been to Phu Quoc for many years so this was my first visit to the new bigger and relocated night market. As soon as we arrived some guy dressed in a costume and monkey mask thrust a lollipop into my 4 year old daughter's hand and then demanded money for it. Needless to say he got it straight back but that set the tone for the visit. The place was packed with mostly Vietnamese tourists and I was waiting to get my pockets picked but thankfully it didn't happen. The rest of the visit was pretty much entirely spent declining offers of peanuts getting shoved in my face by the black shirted peanut pests who are literally everywhere you turn. Eventually found a nice lady with a juice stall and some quiet comfy chairs out of the way of the crowds so that was the highlight for me The old night market was smaller but it was way better. This one is only good if you like crowds and peanuts.

Loved this place and went nightly during our stay in the area.

The first night we chose one of the more restaurant style stalls in the market where you pick out food or live seafood and they cook it for you. I would avoid this as the food wasn’t great and was extremely overpriced.

The smaller food stalls where the best and lots of desert and ice cream stalls.

Was totally expecting to get a bit of an upset stomach from our food choices but was totally fine!

A typical touristy night market, with a twist. You've got all your gift stalls, pepper, coconut, fish sauce etc and when you arrive to leaving all you can hear is the banging of the Ice Cream roll guys!! It's really good to see and for about £1 You get a pretty tasty ice cream!
The market is also full of fresh seafood restaurants, all of them very busy selling everything from prawns to sea urchin! And very reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our plate of simply bbq'd king prawns.
Well worth a visit.

Never come back to HUY BAO restaurant at Night Market. Terrible restaurant, cheating customers. We paid 750kVND for 2 very small seafoods with around 400g. Recipe was very badly. Services was unexceptable. No pricelist for seafoods, ridiculous

Last night went to the SeaFood restaurant with my wife. Picked from the aquarium a few pieces: shells, oysters, a crab, a fish; not that much. The cooking wasn’t that special. At the end we were shocked with a bill of 3million VND (approx $140). Indeed outrageous, a complete rip off. Avoid the place, it’s not worth it.

This night market is small compared to the night markets in other cities. I had read negative reviews about the sea food places and so I didn’t eat any seafood at the market. We did try the roll-up icecream (lychee & mango flavor) , coconut water-palm jelly drink and local fruits. All were very good. Food wise there isn’t much for vegetarians.

Shopping was a bit disappointing because there wasn’t much variety. I did buy some red & black pepper. They seem to have too many peanut & false pearls stores. I guess they sell what people buy but I didn’t buy those items.

We spent one week in phu quoc and the night Market is a must to see. This is a very lively market, not particularly clean and sanitised so we only eat once.
If you want to have a nice time (not food) this market is the perfect place.
