A beautiful green area in town to walk. There is a good cycle/walking path that follows the track of a large lake.
The gardens are very well maintained. There are about 3 areas at different parts of the walk with outside physical fitness exercise equipment you can use. There are bridges to cross, sculptures, waterfalls to see, places to picnic under cover, also an interesting block building with murals on the outside and inside with a tree growing from the centre of it. Plenty of fishing too, from what I saw. I also saw a 6 foot long Monitor lizzard happily swimming about.

Great park in Korat on south west side of the city. Perfect for running, cycling or just walking - there are paths all the way around the lake for different types of activity. Getting there is quite easy - either via tuk tuk or there were a couple of songthaew routes passing close by. Not much in the way of facilities but a few food vendors were hanging around, not too many stray dogs either. Worth a visit if you're in Nakhon Ratchasima.

Every day, hundreds of locals flock to the water park for jogging, cycling and walking around a huge lake. The park is owned by the army camp next door, but they open it to the public in the morning and evening and it is free. One of the fascinating things about this place is that every night at 6pm the national anthem will be played from the speakers. At this point, every single person will stop doing what they are doing and remain silent for 1 minute to pay tribute to their King and country. It is quite extraordinary to see cyclists and runners suddenly stop, as if time had suddenly stopped.

The lake is established and managed by Thai military. This place is famous for outdoor activities such as jogging, riding bike or outdoor dancing class. It could be a great romantic place for young/teen couple to spend time together at evening time.

I was really surprised by how lovely this park was. We joined a disabled charity run and ran all the way around. Such a lovely setting and very well maintained.

Hidden gem! Well kept and clean park with separated tracks for bikers and runners that lead around the lake with a length of 3.2 km. Perfect training ground, of course especially in the morning. There is also exercise equipment outdoors that can be used for free.
The park is situated south west of the city. You will need a car or other means of transportation to get there.

very huge reservoir (or lake) which has well maintained and organized, it's absolutely perfect idea to build this magnificent water recreation park for serving Korat city population.

it's quite convenient to catch variety transportation system to this place, looking forward to see the similar huge greenery park recreation development project has been implemented in the other province of this country as well.
