Super Cave Visit
Apr 2019
Visited with family whilst on holiday in the area. Wow what a super cave, stunning location. Bit of a climb up to the reception platform and entrance, certainly only for able bodied folk. What a stunning cave system, super staff, really great guides to show you round one of the best untouched caves i have been in. Definitely a visit when in Khanom.

Amazing
Nov 2019
I have to admit that I have never seen any cave like this before in my life. This is a must if you visit Khanom!

The guide that took us inside was great. He gave us as much detail as possible. However they didn’t charge any fee but a tip

I love it!

One of the better caves I have visited
Jul 2019 • Family
This was surprisingly good. Visited with kids 9,7 and 5. I probably would take kids younger than this.

The cave is run by what seem like volunteer guides. You pay the guide and you pay for cave maintenance. The amount is "pay what you think it's worth". I have the guide 250 baht and paid about 200 baht per adult for cave maintenance.

Takes about 1 hour. Slightly challenging, hence why I suggest it might be too much for very young kids. It's a nice cave. Worth doing.

I was skeptical, but it was great
Apr 2019 • Couples
I admit I was skeptical going in- I've seen a lot of caves and they can be dried out, eroded and not that exciting. But Tham Khao Wang Thong was great. The formations are lovely and you get to squeeze through some fairly tight spaces which was fun. There are lovely micros bats hanging from the stalactites which was great. Highly recommended.

The cave is managed by volunteers- please support them.

Awesome cave
Feb 2019 • Friends
Really worth a visit, as it is stunning inside. Not an easy stroll down the cave, but apart from some places where it is slippery or you have to bend down, not difficult either.
It goes deeper than you expect and then you come to this huge cave filled with stalactites, awesome.
This is completely run by volunteers, so please leave a handsome tip for these helpful and enthusiastic people. It is well worth a 200 baht national park entrance fee that you pay elsewhere.
Go and. Is it.

Probably best cave in Thailand
Jan 2019 • Solo
This is a must visit, in Khanom. Really huge cave, but it requires a good shoes, that might get wet, actually some kneeling or even crawling. And you need to book a guide and you need flashlights.

But it is worth the walk. There is long stairs to the opening and from there, a decent walk down to the cave.

Worth to visit
Oct 2018
Very nice cave in the middle of the jungle, fruit orchards and rubber tree plantation. The surrounding area is very green, natural and calm. The guide is nice and friendly. He is local and he will explain you everything about the cave while guiding you inside. You will enjoy the beauty inside the cave. However, the path can be slippery so please wear appreciate shoes. The admission is free. But you can donate some money for the maintainant and leave some tips to the local guide if you enjoy the trip.

One of the most amazing things I've seen in Khanom. Just few tourists and FREE entry but I recommend you to tip the guide.

The highlight of Khanom!
May 2018 • Couples
In the area around Khanom there is plenty of beautiful nature, temple's and view points to enjoy, but nothing is even close to match these mighty caves! Everything is free, but with that said you should tip the guide! To get to the cave you first need to take those about 100 steps up a step staircase. The cave is full of amazing shapes that the nature created by the years and there are several chambers and a few narrow places, but not that narrow that it becomes tricky. A full grown man can without any problem get around the cave. A few tips before visit is to bring a good flashligt and a pair of good shoes. You will be given a small flashlight, but I wished that I brought my own. Amazing place! Will be back here for sure!
