Visited with family whilst on holiday in the area. Wow what a super cave, stunning location. Bit of a climb up to the reception platform and entrance, certainly only for able bodied folk. What a stunning cave system, super staff, really great guides to show you round one of the best untouched caves i have been in. Definitely a visit when in Khanom.

Really worth a visit, as it is stunning inside. Not an easy stroll down the cave, but apart from some places where it is slippery or you have to bend down, not difficult either.
It goes deeper than you expect and then you come to this huge cave filled with stalactites, awesome.
This is completely run by volunteers, so please leave a handsome tip for these helpful and enthusiastic people. It is well worth a 200 baht national park entrance fee that you pay elsewhere.
Go and. Is it.

In the area around Khanom there is plenty of beautiful nature, temple's and view points to enjoy, but nothing is even close to match these mighty caves! Everything is free, but with that said you should tip the guide! To get to the cave you first need to take those about 100 steps up a step staircase. The cave is full of amazing shapes that the nature created by the years and there are several chambers and a few narrow places, but not that narrow that it becomes tricky. A full grown man can without any problem get around the cave. A few tips before visit is to bring a good flashligt and a pair of good shoes. You will be given a small flashlight, but I wished that I brought my own. Amazing place! Will be back here for sure!

We visited the cave with zero expectation just it is on the way back to our hotel. Turn out it is the highlight of our khanom trip. Some spot on routes need bending and crawling, to see the hidden large hall behind. If you like advanture and are cave archeology lover. Dont miss!!!!

Once you get close the caves are well sign posted but we needed sat nav help to get that far. The drive from Khanom also takes you down a pretty road covered by a canopy of rubber trees. You need to climb about 100 fairly steep steps to get to the cave and a guide takes you around. There is no entry fee but I think you should be ready to tip the guide as they do a great job. The caves go about 500m and were very impressive with a number of Chambers. There is one narrow section and another low bit but not to the point you have to crawl. The guide provided hard hats and torches. It's best to wear sensible shoes and take water. There are some bats but very small and quite sweet.

You should try this during your stay in Khanom: quite an adventure! Our guide was very friendly and helpful. Wear good shoes because it can be slippery inside. One of us had difficulties with flip-flops. Sneakers are ok.
The route to the caves was nice to drive: good road through a beautiful rubber tree area. We had to stop couple of times to check the route but finally found our way. There should be some more signs on the road!

You may spend an hour in side. There is T Rex, Pagoda, Guan Yin rocks and etc. We got a local guide which explain a lot of information. But for foreigners better to bring your translator.

I have to admit that I have never seen any cave like this before in my life. This is a must if you visit Khanom!
The guide that took us inside was great. He gave us as much detail as possible. However they didn’t charge any fee but a tip
I love it!
