I had a planned trip to a hotspring resort in Angeles City on Christmas day and as a Catholic, I looked for a church nearby to hear the celebration of mass. Located in the heart of Angeles City, Pampanga and right beside the Holy Angel University. I was amazed by how grand the church was. I was only expecting a small church since it is a parish church. Since the city (and the whole Phils) was in quarantine alerts for COVID19, they are strictly practising health protocols. Only a limited number of persons were allowed inside the church and within its perimeter. The church gate were locked once the allowed capacity was reached. The 7am mass I attended was celebrated in Kapmpangan dialect, nevertheless, the spirit wa still there. Calm and serenity filled this church. A must visit if you are around Angeles City.

The Santo Rosario Parish in Angeles is one of the Spanish Era structures well preserved up to this day. Another feature of the area is the cobblestone pathway or road leading to the church. A must see for people who love old churches. This building is currently undergoing renovation after being damage by the recent Pampanga Quake.

The Holy Rosary Parish, formerly known as Santo Rosario Church, today fondly called by locals as "Pisambang Maragul" ("Big Church") stands in the epicenter of the old Culiat town, ie. Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines. The church is a national historical site. Beautiful and so peaceful inside. Do visit.

I needed a time off from work one sunday and was seeking a place to pray and be one with God. Good thing my friends from the hotel recommend this church. Not onky it brought back the Old vibe church but it also taught me that you just don’t conform with what’s new. You can be yourself and still stand out and be strong.

Beautiful church and very meaningful homily by Fr. Nolasco L. Fernandez.

Hard to park if you are driving. So thankful that we found a parking spot just outside the church.

The main church was rebuilt in 1960 having a new dome and in 1980 for a new balcony. This church is where majority of Holy Angel Students on First Friday of the Months receive their First Communion in this Church.

The church was damaged in the April 22, 2019 earthquake that hit the province of Pampanga. Local authorities deemed it unsafe for use and was closed for several months.

Thankfully, the church was partially reopened in time for the town fiesta on the 2nd Sunday of October, 2019 albeit with scaffolding and safety wire mesh dominating the interior of the church.

For those who wish to visit, the church is open on weekdays up to 830a.m. after the 730a.m. mass. It is then closed to make way for construction and repair activities. It reopens to the public for the 530pm. mass.

Holy Rosary Parish Church is the oldest church in Angeles City. The structural design is amazing. It is the best choice for wedding and baptismal. It has enough parking space. It is a must for religious persons to visit. You will really appreciate the old beauty of the place. Great place for solemn pray as well.

You know how when you visit churches and you get a certain feeling? This church just feels so alive despite it being built in the late 1800s. Obviously it is the center of religious activities in Angeles City and that it has seen many children grow up to become adult Kapampangans that are proud of their heritage. Really worth visiting. The altar is vividly arresting with the lighted huge rosary beads around the statue if the Virgin Mary at the altar
