We recently used Bali Honest Driver during our travels in Ubud and would highly recommend our driver Kedak. My husband and I travelled around Ubud, sightseeing and visiting places like Campuhan Ridge Walk, the Tegalalang Rice Terrace and the Sacred Monkey Forest. Kedak was a great driver, navigating alternative routes easily when we encountered road closures. Kedak had a lovely relaxed approach, open to chatting when we had questions, but also allowing us to enjoy the drive and watch the world go by peacefully when we wanted some downtime. When I first reached out to Bali Honest Driver via email, we established a costing based on the itinerary I provided. During our travels Kedak was very easy going with changes to the itinerary, and I'd simply whatsapp or email Bali Honest Driver directly to advise of the changes. Kedak was always happy to be our tour guide when needed, and also happy to wait patiently nearby and pick us up when we were ready. Kedak was a wealth of knowledge and shared great insight into the community's culture. I look forward to utilising Bali Honest Driver during our next trip to Bali, and will make a point of requesting Kedak as our driver.

Gede Suar is an outstanding driver. While his English was not often clear, he made up for it in humor and a great attitude. He was willing to work with our itinerary, making suggestions - additions and modifications, including recommending restaurants, that helped us cover the most during our Bali trip, while enjoying Balinese food and hospitality. He was respectful, caring, and patient with my wife, helping her and meeting her needs and requests, which included buying the biggest most delicious mangosteen, getting some kropek (?) - a crunchy snack, etc. We highly recommend Gede as a driver who will make your trip in Bali an enjoyable one. Bali Honest Driver provides a very good deal and great service for a rental with a driver for 10 hours a day, everything inclusive.

After many failed attempts at finding good and trustworthy transport, I found Bali Honest Driver. I messaged them the night before I needed a driver. They responded very quickly and the rate they gave was better than any where else I had looked. I ended up booking a 6 hour tour, however I just needed a ride from Seminyak to Ubud and back. Much more affordable and convenient than finding and using a taxi both ways.
Rommie was my driver and I have to say, he improved my holiday by 100%! He was very easy going and very genuine. He is so knowledgeable about the island (as well as surrounding islands) and we had a great discussion about the Balinese culture. Side note: he wasn’t forcing this information onto me, I asked a lot of questions and he very kindly answered them.
If you are traveling to Bali, I highly recommend Rommie. He was professional and as a female solo traveler, he definitely helped to make me feel safe and secure!

We availed the service of Mr Eben.He was our guide and driver during our 4 days stay at Bali. He took us to visit different places and also helped us to get the tickets and updated us on the local culture, history etc.
He is very friendly and quiet informative about local culture and customs.
We will surely avail his ( Mr Eben’s) service whenever we visit Bali in future and will even recommend our friends visiting Bali to contact him or BaliHonest Drivers for any travel assistance in Bali.

We booked a week long vacation in Bali with some friends of ours. We had never been to Bali but our friends had and suggested a private car service/tour guide for the week. We agreed and were not disappointed. Our Tour Guide was Dewa, he was very friendly, polite, helpful and an overall good person. He was always on time to pick us up each day, asked us what we wanted from day to day and was ready with suggestions and recommendations, he even showed us some hidden gems that were off the beaten path. Not to mention he always ensured he took photos of us at the best locations with perfect lighting! His car was impeccable each morning when picking us up and always stocked with water for the days events. Dewa has a deep understanding of the history of the area, which made the experience come alive. The way he presented the places he took us, and in the order he presented them, gave us a real appreciation of Bali and its place in history. I highly recommend Dewa if you’re looking for a tour guide that is extremely personable, knowledgeable about the area and will make your trip fun and memorable!

Most drivers with most Bali transport options are excellent. Bali Honest Drivers with my driver Mahesa here transcended excellence. The quality of Bali Honest Driver management and my driver Mahesa and their genuinely friendly and professional sevice is unprecedented in my experience in 20 years of regular visits to Bali. And in this regard especially, management here lead by example.
Mahesa over several tours was excellent. Very safe, friendly, reliable and helpful. Always on time or early. With a modern and immaculate car.
While I had somewhat of an agenda of my own, Mahesa suggested additional options and I am very pleased he did.
I was in Bali to improve my landscape photography skills. And while neither Mahesa nor I are professional photographers, Mahesa learns quickly and so he proved very helpful in assisting with camera operations, e.g. changing lenses, lens caps, suggesting shots, interpreting with locals and being an excellent and photogenic model himself!
Would I use Bali Honest Drivers again? Yes, in a heartbeat, and especially with Mahesa. And I will.
Further, I will recommend their management in Mr Katuk and Mr Lagu. They and Mahesa did what they said they would do. Delivered and exceeded expectations in all aspects of service. And all at a very fair and reasonable price. You can't go wrong with Bali Honest Drivers and Mahesa.

Had a great experience with Made (our driver) for the full 7 day trip. He is very patient and will suggest new places to go that fits our agenda and what we want to do. A couple of times I want to watch the sunset but was cloudy so the next few days he gave suggestions and took us to places where we can have a great view of the sunset (finally saw one in the end).

Our Bali vacation was very memorable and pleasant as we had Nyoman as our driver and guide! Nyoman’s driving skills is very professional which made us feel secured to arrive at our destinations safely, this is especially important as we had long drive trips that started early in the morning or ended late at night. Nyoman is also very punctual and friendly, always ensuring that he arrives at the pick up points much earlier than the indicated timings. Nyoman knows Bali inside out and never fail to answer the questions we had about the local places of attractions, food delicacies and culture! Lastly, Nyoman takes very beautiful photos, so if you will like to take Instagram photos on your trip, Nyoman will be the driver and guide to look for! Highly recommended! We will definitely request for Nyoman for our next trip to Bali!

2. Fast reply and scheduling
3. Excellent rates USD $45 for 10 hours of five star service (includes bottled water and wifi hotspot) (Ubud and Sideman areas require an additional USD $5)
4. Drivers are kind and thoughtful.
5. Uniforms are very cute.
6. Cars are immaculate and cleaned daily.
Wayan Putrayasa was the best driver I’ve had in my years of travel.
1. Whether in India, South Africa, Dubai or Jamaica I have never met a more accommodating, flexible and knowledgeable driver.
2. Assisted with international SIM card
3. Assisted with printing documents
4. Gave excellent advice and was open to last minute schedule changes
5. Had a high level of English fluency in verbal and written communication (WhatsApp messages were very useful.)
6. My Japanese husband and I feel as though we have made a friend for life.

A driver by definition is a person who drives a vehicle.
But what I have experience is much more than so.
As a virgin to Bali, i have no experience other than what is read and seen online.
Bali Honest Driver, Ketut was simply a great fit for me and my group (of 4).
He provided additonal reccomendations, insights to the itenary, clear and precise replies and even calls if need be.
The prices are resonable, transport is well maintained and comfortable. Not to mentioned the prices are well stated before the trip.
On the day of arrival till departure, as we were there for a extended location and some unforseen circumstances, we had an array of driver. All of which are experienced drivers which can allow you to rest in peace whilst travelling.
They are well connected with the people, places and can get you anywhere you want.
Even in the most experience drivers or locals cant say for sure they know all the places espically in my case most places are homestays.
But this is no problem for them as they would still assist you in asking the locals for the location and get you there.
They are willing accompany you to take photos as the photographer, bring you to unfamillar eating places if you have any local cravings and finally share local cultures, stories and history with you.
I would like to note a special thanks to:
Ketut, my main point of contact that has ensure my trip was properly planned. Although, i have never met you directly, i sincerly thank you from the bottom of my heart. I sincerly hope that anyone going to bali would be lucky enough to contact someone like you

Putra Ketut, Great guide, great photographer and videographer, if you ever drop by nusa pendia(which you definately should), he is the one you should look for. Apart from helping us to guide us around and hunting for our cravings you deliever onto us a no less then professional shooting experierence, helping us carry our belonging and taking care of our items. I too hope that all would be smooth sailing for you and for luck and karama to go your way.
In the short 10 days, I am glad to say to me they have become my friends and given the choice I will not give a second thought to any of the decision in regards to hiring them as my driver contact.
I dare not say they are the best. But in my books definately, they are a catch to be accompained by for the trip.

How much is the car to rent for a day? I assume the gas (fuel) for the car is paid separately.
