i got zero's phone number from here , called him and met him in bali ,he is very polite and of very helping nature, truly a very nice guy . i paid him a advance booking amount of 25% for me and my wife. his driver picked us up from my resort grand mirage at nusa dua by 1.45 am.
after reaching to the base of mount batur , his guide met us and provided us hiking sticks and water. and than we started our hiking to reach to the crater before sunrise.
after a few km. , hiking got harder and harder and steep , more than what we expected. let me tell u here friends , its not easy , if u r not physically fit , its not gonna b very easy . thanks to the guide he helped us climb and reach the crater just before sunrise.
its tiring but is fun , the adrenal rush while pushing yourself to do something not many do ,to reach and see something which u haven't seen ever is sooo much fun ....
And well, when u reach at the top the view is breathtaking. no words or pics can describe the real beauty of place.
sunrise view is amazingly beautiful and than u can see fumes coming out of cracks on mountain . they serve u good breakfast there and eggs boiled in these volcanic fumes . a completely difference experience.
take as many pics and selfies as u can :D
while coming back we choosed a longer but easier path.
this path had volcanic ash on most of its part . and welll another different experience to walk thru the volcanic ash.

This is my first time climb volcano but i got wonderful experience, i booked mount Agung trekking via Jero website, Bali trekking Tour net, he replied my email just couple on minute. Just discus finaly I and Jero made a deal with the rate offered.
We picked up In Seminyak by Mangku, he come in time, precisely @ 08.45 pm, Jero promised will picked up us @ 09.00 pm but his driver come early. I very appreciate it. Mangku drive us to the foot of volcano, near by Besakih temple, @ around 11.05 pm we started hike. We arrived on the top before sunrise. The sky was clear that night, I can see shooting stars (many time, i was make a ways. If you have problem kindly bring your medication as the air up there was dry and cold.
My guide was excellent, he is Gede darta, it was very friendly and motivating, to be honest worth the money, he very helpful guide. Thank so much Jero and Team you are the best. I highly recommended your services to every one. If you need best service contact Jero and team on WahttApp +6281904082208. I guarantee you'll never regret have Jero and team to be your guide.

Climbing Mt Batur is a must when in Bali! I would suggest going slightly earlier and starting around 3-30am so that there is ample time to reach the peak before sunrise. The night sky was also decorated with stars which was something not to be missed especially if you live in bustling and brightly lit cities

It was a good tour, all though its tough to go up there. So people who are really fit and do regular exercise only should try it out. Putting stress on your body immediately on one go is not recommended at all.
As for the Bali Trekking Tour company, there services are good and guide Jero was helpful and motivating, he shared lots of inputs about the mountains, local area and about history of volcano.

It’s an early start and a long day, but so worth it.
Our pick up was right on time. Our guide was super-friendly and helpful, full of smiles and jokes. He made sure the pace was right for everyone in the group and gave a helping hand as required.
The coffee and sandwiches at the summit were just what we needed while we watched the utterly gorgeous sunrise.
On the way home we visited a plantation for some delicious coffee, cacao, and tea tasting.
I highly recommend this trip for anyone who has a reasonable level of fitness.

I booked the Mt Batur Sunrise tour with Jero together with 2 of my girl friends and I must say it's awesome experience. I am not just saying that the view is breathtaking, the service provided is also impressive. Jero is quick to response and accommodating to our requests and queries. The trekking equipment provided is of good condition and we have no problem communicating with Jero and the guide, Ketut in english.
Ketut is a very friendly and thoughtful guide. He not only assisted to carry our bagbacks when he see us struggling with the hike, he also hold our hands and guide us one by one to overcome some tough parts of the trek. He is like superman!!! We feel really safe with him around as he constantly looked out for 3 of us - trekking newbies. The breakfast served up at the summit was so enjoyable with the bonus view. It's make up of hot coffee/tea and sandwiches accompanied at least 3 types of fruits and volcano boiled eggs. Ketut is a decent photographer too!

Me and my friend had a trip with Gody. Overall, we were very happy with our hiking day! Although, we came across a group whose guide (from another company) had essentially ditched them, so be sure to book with a company where all guides are good. We paid 90 USD each with 2 people, including transport from and to a hotel in Sanur.
We asked for a later start (because I had to pick up my gf from the airport), so we got picked up from a Sanur hotel at 2 AM and started climbing at 3:30 AM, and did not get to see the 6 AM sunrise (it was hiding behind a big rock when we were climbing) as we got to the to at around 7 AM. But we did get to climb more in the daylight, which I much preferred to stumbling around in the dark where you don’t see the beauty around you. It took us 3.5 hours to get to the top. Coming down was a bit slower because my friend had slippery shoes and it had started raining.
The guide Gody was friendly and patient, was definitely competent about anything related to the hike and was great about the jokes we made together (although his English wasn’t 100% on *every* topic I tried to discuss). We were definitely happy with him overall!
Recommendations:
PLANNING
- Communicate with Bali Trekking Tours using WhatsApp +62 819-0408-2208. It is fast and efficent.
- If you have flexibility, pick a non-cloudy day. We climbed up without clouds and the view was magnificent, coming down was cloudy and we couldn’t see much. If you don’t see much, you’re missing out!
- The guide will provide headlamps, a walking stick and raincoats. He also gave us a 1.5L bottle of water and a plastic bag with food (biscuits, chocolate bars, 2 mandarins) before the climb. I preferred my own healthier snacks and a camelback with 2 L of water, but it’s your choice.
- The weather was varying in our mid-December hike, from moon to sun to cloudy to mist to rain. If you are hiking/climbing with runners and there is a chance of rain, I hope your runners have some grip because it does get slippery, and it’s a bit of a hazard at a 3-hour slope which is constantly angled at 30-40 degrees and mostly covered in small rocks. My friend with slippery shoes descended rather slowly “checked out a few bushes” on his way down as a result.
Finally: Go for it, and have a nice legs & back massage in town afterwards!

I have climbed mt Batur more than 5 times but this is the first time i use Jerro's services and it was unforgettable. The driver picked 3 of us up at 2am as promised from ubud. I told jerro that i have a lady who is unfit but eager to see the sunrise, he said no problem. He got his driver Ketut sent us to the nearest point to the top and he engaged a guide 'Made' and a 'water lady' Putu who sells drinks but is assigned to help my unfit friend to climb. Wow they really did help. My unfit friend almost gave up but putu especially, never gave up and encouraged her. All of us finally made it just on time for the sunrise and i am so impress on how they coordinated well to achieve this right from the beginning. We were supplied with breakfast to eat while watching the sunrise, carried up by our guide, each were given a torch light and a hiking pole. 'Made' brought us around the crater, fantastic view, i never experienced full tour like this. Highly recommended. I am sure i will use jerro's services again for my next climb mt agung. He knows whats best and for his clients. We paid rp700k each for this personalised service and its worth much more.

Good service! Driver was early, guide was extremely helpful and experience to bring up the mountain. Recommend one guide for every two people going up. They made the journey easier and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

My 3d2n stay at Ubud marks the beginning. Main highlight is nonetheless - Hike up Mount Batur! Engage this remarkable services via tripadvisor recommendations by Jero & Team. No regrets~ Driver was punctual. Departs 2.30am at Ubud and a professional guide - Ketut (young & good looking). Hike up took us 2.5hrs whilst hiking down is less tedious almost 1.5hrs. Just make sure you head up at the right season and check weather forecast during pre planning! Not everyone is lucky enough to witness such Beautiful sunrises there! (Quoting from friend's experiences) However, I'm blessed~ These sums up my amazing experiences with above mentioned tours~ *thumbs up & highly recommended*

Hi Bali trekking tour! Im enthusiastically excited for my trip in 20 days to come! I came about this tour from my hometown buddy who visited bali few months back . He recored that its a must for me to visit mount batur! As to what he said . It appears to be what I really imagined seeing from the photos. Ill be stayin at boutique hostel . How do I get thru you guys for the trekking trip? My friend said that there'll be broachers along the streets of kuta and seminyak . But personally I did rather make reserations with you directly .
