Start early morning around 8am from our hotel at north part of Bali around the village of Sekumpul, Jimmy took us to the village of Lemuki where the adventure point. Guided by some locals there riding scooters we arrive at the first session spot for sliding on the river then we were exploring one of the most exotic rice terrace no comercialize like tegallalang. Then we were jumping several times into the crystal water natural pool. The last part of the trip finally we were exploring the most spectacular waterfalls consists of Sekumpul&Fiji. That was absolutelly awesome tour! Highly recommended for those who like to explore the authentic and typical nature of Bali out of hustle and bustle also comercialized places. Thank you Jimmy. You are the Man!

One of my highlight adventure tours during my vacation on Bali. Jimmy took me to the north part of Bali which was very typical landscape and nature. We went trekking to the bunch waterfalls which is also the most beautiful and the tallest waterfalls in Bali. But before that we wete sliding and jumping into thr crystal water river. Also the panoric rice terraces was just STUNNING! Strongly revommendedbtrip for those who like an adrenaline challenge and natural beauty seeker. Totally awesome!!!

I did not realize that so manything to see on the magic island called Bali. Kumang took me on the special trip where other tourist never been before. Exploring northern Bali it just something different to me. The nature or plants are quite different to the other parts of Bali. As this part of Bali is famous with agriculture, here you can find cloves plantation, vanilla, kakao and of course Bali coffee. The landscape consists of hills, rice terraces, river and waterfalls all together, very close each other I consider it as "Bali in one picture". Took a walk for 2 hours it was relly worth. Do excercise while enjoying the beautiful sights along the way it just gorgeous!!! And refreshed my mind.
Especially in the end of the trip swimming at the bottom of clear water falls, it just amazing.
Highly recommend for those who loves nature and want to get sensational feeling.
Here are the serenity, tranqulity, peaceful or whatever the right words for it. Thank you Kumang took me to this place. Our best driver and guide in Indonesia. Hope see you again soon for another trip. Unfortunately this is very short time vacation. But absolutely will be back. Sampai nantih!!!

Oh it’s very easy to provide this review. With Jimmy it’s all simple - he listened closely to what I exactly wanted and he delivered over and above expectations - all in flawless English. Off the beaten path, on the beaten path, near the beaten path? Dress you up in traditional Balinese dress so you can freely roam temples entirely and capture amazing photos of your experience? No problem. Go to remote waterfalls and indulge in local fare? No problem. He and his network of friends who worked on cruise ships for many years and understand a 5 star level service are a huge asset to any traveler or vacationer who wants to see Bali and get a taste of the insider’s experience.

We did a reservation online at their website and gave them a call afterwards to confirm. The tour-guide picked us up at our hotel at 09:00h. They drove us to somewhere on top of the hill to start our trip through rice fields and to the Sekumpul Waterfalls. Our guide was very kind and told us a lot about the different crops that grow in the area. Along the way you can buy a young coconut that's harvested on the spot. They cut the coconut for you so you can eat and drink directly from it. Very refreshing! After the walk through the rice fields we started the trip down to the waterfalls. Downwards the trip is fairly easy to do, upwards is a bit harder. The waterfalls are absolutely beautiful! You can swim underneath the waterfalls, the swim is very nice and refreshing.
At the end of the trip we ended up on a roof terrace with a lovely view over the mountains and had a lovely lunch which was part of our package. We recommend this trekking highly to everyone! The guides are really nice and helpful.

Swimming in this waterfall was one of the best experiences of my life. It was just amazing. We also had the most delicious green pancakes from a Balinese lady who lives in the jungle on our way out of the trek. However there was also a not so nice man on the way out selling tea, who I thought was rude and pushy to sell. He called me stupid! That was my only real criticism of the day. The lunch on the lakes was OK.. but no comparison to the cooked meal we had on the Mayong village trek, that was a much better lunch. This place didn't feel very clean or well looked after and there were a lot of flies. They probably change the lunch plan and just drive past the lakes for a photo.

We had a great time in Bali with Jimmy (Sekumpul Trekking Tour and Travel). He helped us find a great tracking trip in the northern part of Bali. He and his crew pretty much took care of us the whole time we were in Bali. He took us to find Batik too. There are a couple of types batik (by waxing and painting); batik tulis, batik cap, combination, and even some printed cloth that just has batik-like patterns on them.

In Bali there are many small workshops (and large) making a type of batik that is called "Colet" (cho - let) and it's a broader less indicate waxing method that often uses brushed on dyes instead of immersion to give a more watercolor look.

There is also Ikat batik, which is a woven textile, where the resist is made by tying small groups of threads and resist dying them before they are woven.

Jimmy is very knowledgable and guided us through this adventure.

Thank you, Jimmy!

Found Jimmy on Trip Advisor and we wanted something different to Ubud and normal things done in Bali - well, we were not disappointed at all.

Very easy to organise - speaks excellent English - vehicle was comfortable and pricing was very reasonable too.

Drove across the island - seeing the twin lakes - Monkeys in the forest and ended up at Sekumpel Waterfalls - a shortish walk downhill (suggest you take good footwear, but my wife managed in thongs) - visited two waterfalls - and swam under the smaller one - absolutely fantastic.

After a relatively easy walk back to our vehicle, we enoyed a great lunch of our choice, with a couple of drinks at no extra cost.

Extremely narrow and winding roads were not a problem for Jimmy and we arrived back in Seminyak in time to collect shopping.

Jimmy, you were fantastic and thank you - please use him for this type of unique experience!

Stunning view of a gorgeous waterfall. It was peaceful. There ere people sitting and dining while watching the waterfall and the food looked and smelled very good. You can swim at the bottom waterfall but not very close to it. My teens truly admired the beauty and tried to decide whether the volcano or the waterfall was better.

Trekking? Rather a walk. On the parking I heard the guides convincing some tourists, that the need their service and even belaying rope... Nonsense.
