- Pam C6 contributionsOk for a visitSmall group of markets. As is common in bali lots of stalls with bartering. Discovered one fixed price shoe store, which I personally prefer. Variety of goods however if you don't know price comparisons you will get ripped off.Visited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 4, 2024
- Dan LBunbury, Australia9,012 contributionsMight be better later in the day!Few stalls on the day we visited, stallholders intent on catching up on the latest iPhone content and just ignored potential custom. Area cleaner than last visit and still more shade structures to be erected. Maybe 9.30am was too early to visit.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 5, 2024
- Justin Han42 contributionsNot worth the visitWe were exploring Seminyak and thought that it would be interesting to visit a flea market. Walked over from Seminyak Square which was a short walk away. The shops were pretty much selling the same stuff which can be purchased at other places in Bali as well. We spent less than 30mins in total here as there were about 2-3 rows of shops only seeking pretty generic knick knacks. Would not recommend unless you really have nothing to do.Visited May 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 23, 2024
- Terence MSydney, Australia25 contributionsUneasy experience shopping. Not what we expected from some reviews. Very tense atmosphere and not as friendly as some of the other local areas. Same things in alot of the stalls and competition between sellers is high. Would rather a friendlier place even if paying more. Be prepared for hard negotiating.Visited June 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 21, 2024
- G2KpaulyMelbourne, Australia3,611 contributionsAlittle expensiveI came here to look for tshirts and hats but I think they are asking silly prices. Starting 300k for a cap and 200k for a t-shirt is more than Australia. They would drop to 100k in one shop for the hat but still I could get cheaper in less touristy places in Asia!Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 4, 2024

Good experience. They have beautiful items. We didn’t buy much as it’s a bit of work bargaining. Recommend great bargaining skills as the prices the retailers ask for can be quite steep. Also be prepared to be swamped with retailers trying to get you to purchase their items.

Had an amazing experience at the first clothes shop you come across when you walk in. Brought a dress and pants too. Guy was helpful and not too pushy! My husband wanted a hat further down and bargained for it but was dependent on my buying some harem pants. Deal didn’t go through but then Hubble went back to buy the hat and was told “wife was too fussy!!!” Hello my money, my taste and I have to wear it - bonus points for Hubble he told the seller to “stick it”!!

Visited this markets as it showed up on our map and wasn’t far from the beach hotel we were staying at. It was really hot and muggy in there due to the limited airflow with the tent style set up.
There was nothing here you wouldn’t find on the street and the prices were higher. Rows of basically the same stuff. An example of product price, Nike rubber slides for $35aud. You’d get the same in Sydney for the same price with a warranty and knowledge they weren’t fake.
Also ridiculous in not wanting to bargain down the prices. Another example was a cane bag for 300,000 IDR, when a shop nearby with set price tags had the same for 125,000.
My advice is stick to the shops along the street, the airflow is better, people friendlier and you’ll find the same products anyway.

Please don't go there and please do not buy anything. We walked through and asked at a couple stands for some prices. They are ridiculously high for goods that can be bought exactly the same for 2pth of the price from AliExpress! Nothing in that market (or in any store leading to the market from the center at 'Corner House') is authentic. Everything is from AliExpress. Don't believe me? Use the product camera search function in the app.
We were trying very hard to find an authentic souvenir shop to buy gifts and to support a local craftsman /trade, but how we were met when asking about it, was beneath everything expected.
They got angry at us for not being stupid enough to be hassled and swindled.

This flea market is quite the experience. Lots of stalls rammed into the same space. Like all stalls the sellers will try it on for prices and they enjoy the haggle. Just be mindful that a few dollars means little to you but can make a very big difference for some of these families. This is worth the adventure to pop in for a look.

If you are in the neighbourhood, maybe because you have eaten in a nearby restaurant, you are at the end of your holiday, and you need to assemble some gifts or souvenirs to take home, then this place is as good, if not better than most small tourist markets. What it has in its favour is that all of the usual trinkets and gadgets are in one place. The vendors are friendly and are not going to hard sell you, which is always a relief. Things are displayed so you can see clearly what is on sale. The precinct is small enough for you to do several rounds while you make up your mind. And, you can park. So it is easy to access. And, I know I can get in there and out again without it being a major expedition. I quite like this little market for all of those reasons.

Its not a 'flea market' its a regular market with high priced, cheap quality stuff. This place may be popular with visitors staying in seminyak for long durations.

If you have a fair idea of what you are looking for and an expected price you are willing to pay, you will love the place. Good range of items - clothes, souvenirs, accessories.
The general expectation seems to be a 1/3 of the price quoted. You may be a tad disappointed if the 300k ask and a 100k retort is met with yes please take it. Maybe I should have replied with a lower price. But anyways that is the whole point of a market where you bargain.
It is technically not a flea market in terms of throwaway prices. It is an organized retail with multiple shop fronts displaying their wares.

We love this market in Seminyak, it does have a great vibe and you can snare a bargain if you're a good hagler. Pay a visit to the Diana store, they certainly offer the best deals. The cafe at the market is a great little bonus and has an awesome coming class. The guy that takes it is full of energy whose English is the best I've heard.

We stopped past for about 10 minutes and then decided to go to the beach for sunset. By the time we returned most of the stalls had closed. The high pressure bargaining was exhausting. I bought some bags from one of the surrounding stalls and hubby didn’t want to do any more. Some of the linen items looked nice though. Didn’t get a chance to return.
