We're unabashed lovers of food and cooking and have done cooking classes in most places we visit around the world. We've done a couple in Ubud and thought they were quite good. This visit, due to limited time, we thought we would try something down by the coast and as we were staying in Seminyak we came up with Dean... More

Chef Dean is very entertaining during the market tour, at the coffee shop and during the class. He has a great sense of humour, is very knowledgable about local culture and traditions and most important the food and spices. The cooking experience was really fun and the eating experience was the best. The frozen chocolate martini was heavenly. We are so... More

Chef Dean Cooking Class was by far the highlight of my trip to Bali in June 2016. Everything about the day went without a hitch. The email booking process was seamless and I was picked up on time. Even a small hiccup with some other participants and a sick child was accommodated graciously so as not to disadvantage the rest... More

Spectacular day! Morning was spent at Denpasar Market...spices, fruits, vegetables, meats fish...a little education along the way...Chef picked up several items for the day...had some samples...able to purchase spices for ourselves. Next stop a tiny family run coffee shop...sampled great coffee and chocolate..also bought some for home! Then onto his home, where we had cocktails, bintangs, and learned about all... More

Well what an experience Chef deans spice cooking class was. Apart from waiting at the wrong meeting point and nearly missing the whole show this day was an absolute success! Never to worry though, chef dean himself altered his drive and made sure that i was picked up... CHAMPION!! The day began with a trip to the local market where... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this cooking class. A trip to a local market that you would be unlikely to see otherwise, was interesting and an assault on a few of the senses! A coffee stop with some history and insight followed, then a long drive to the cooking school. I am a keen cook of Asian food and still learned a lot,... More

It's hard to teach cooking and keep a group of girls and partying mums entertained. But Chef Dean and his team did a fabulous job. Its a long day but thoroughly enjoyable. Learnt more about Bali's culture and people than on any other visit. Highly recommend.

My partner bought me this cooking experience for my birthday, and boy am I glad he did! We were picked up right on time in Seminyak Square where we were then taken to Denpasar food market. The sights, smells and tastes can only be experienced first hand! Dean purchased all the ingredients we needed for the day while showing us... More

What an amazing day this is, picked up promptly by the Charismatic and Charming Chef Dean and whisked of to the Jimbaran seafood markets for some fresh produce. Then of to the cooking school for such a fantastic day. My wife and I went in March this year and had the best time. This is truly the top cooking class... More
