However my visits are usually to the coffee shop, where they grind the beans for you to suit whatever system of coffee making you use, and serve the best cappuccino around. I also like the... More

Great experience..this is much more than a wine tasting...fruit farm...trails and craft shops. Wine superb but couldn't quite get to grips with chocolate with it?

You get used to people in this country being really friendly and welcoming so the underwhelming welcome here was a bit strange. We did the wine and chocolate tasting, were given a brief by the staff about what was what and then left to get on with it. Some really interesting taste combinations, as we very much like both ingredients,... More

Excellent, quiet atmosphere, great venue for wine tasting. Very helpful staff and great wines. Will return for lunch when restaurant opens, but cakes and coffee were excellent in the coffee shop.

My friend and I did a wine and turkish delight pairing at Lourensford Estate. The guy who helped us, Jan Louis, was very friendly and you could see that he has a lot of knowledge over wine. My friend then accidentally knocked his tray with wine glasses over, and without asking, Jan Louis replaced his tray with a new one.... More

A visit to this spectacular estate in Somerset West is highly recommended. We did a wine and chocolate tasting @ R65 per head, which was excellent value for money. The wines are varied to cater for every taste and the specially crafted chocolate divine! Fantastic!
