The wines are good but this is South Africa so you should expect good quality wines. They also have a farmers style market which is great lots of food and trinkets to taste try and buy. The art gallery is also a nice touch with some lovely sculptures dotted around the grounds. Well worth a visit .

We had come here for a quick wine tasting on our way through the area. It was a great winery; you were able to do a chocolate and wine tasting paring which was fantastic. I wish we had been able to spend more time here.

We arrived late in the afternoon (4:40pm) and couldn't do the complete wine tasting. Still, we could try three different very good wines. The place has attractive wine and food pairing experiences, such as with chocolates and turkish delights.

I was there recently on tour and we sampled multiple wines and the price was very reasonable. The coffee tasting was amazing as well and the grounds were breath taking. Would recommend this to anyone who travels to Cape Town.

We recently took our family from Joburg for a day at Lourensford. It was the perfect experience! We were all extremely impressed with the wine tasting, the service was outstanding. The setting, ambience and decor are superb! We then had a delicious lunch at Millhouse Kitchen. Well done Lourensford!

We really enjoyed our lunchtime visit to this well run and quite large estate and will gladly recommend Lourensford. I was particularly impressed with the fact that, unlike many estates, the overall pricing of the wine and food was considered reasonable by members of our party. Many wine estates seem to target dollar and euro travelers nowadays - this can... More

It offers some space to walk around, have a look at the art gallery and do not miss the coffee rostery (with the cute cat). The restaurant was renovated and is now clean. The pizza is excellent, good value for money. Ideal for families and enough space for children in a distance to make sure that not everyone is annoyed.... More

So glad i brought my guest to this beautiful wine estate. We did a Wine & Chocolate tasting outside in the garden, The atmosphere was truly magical, a young lady who moved to SA a few years ago, attended to us. She was so passionate about South Africa the wines and very knowledgeable on Lourensford in all aspects. Perfect way... More

Millhouse is quite a nice cosy restaurant which is better to visit in winter as it can get very hot in summer outside .the food is good and wine reasonable priced.also a feel good place to visit.
