The wife and I visited on a Monday. There were only a few people around. The tasting room/restaurant was well furnished with some luxury seating and a cosy warm fire. We had the cocktail tasting which was great to taste 4 different cocktails. Thereafter we did the cellar tour which was very informative. Lastly we did the sensory experience. That... More

We took the chocolate and brandy tasting option which I found interesting although brandy is not my favourite. The staff are friend and knowledgeable about the brand and process of distillation. We learnt a lot and found the tour guide extremely helpful. The restaurant is a lovely cosy setting for winter days next to their fireplace. Well worth a visit... More

We did not know what to expect as we have to other brandy tastings before, but this one really upped the level of brandy tasting. Jaco knew what he was talking about and he is very passionate about his work. We had an awesome time. We only did the tasting and not the tour, but next time we are definitely... More

Had a great time and always enjoy popping in for a not so quick one.. The brandy tasting and pairing options are excellent for those who drink brandy as well as for those who don't. The small menu is well made with good attention to detail by the kitchen and waiting staff. The arrival drink is a nice touch and... More

We did the chocolate and brandy pairing. It was excellent. The building and pictures on the walls are fascinating. We will go again.

Whow what a fantastic afternoon we had here. Upon arrival we were treated to a welcome brandy drink with ginger ale..ice cold! Went on the tour. Tried the different tastes of brandy with fudge, yes fudge, absolutely super and different sausages. Thank you for introducing us to Black Gold ......is it the most superior brandy

The beautiful setting, the gallery of interesting and informative posters/photographs on the history of 'Klippies', the good service and an atmosphere of typical Boland hospitality, all contribute to a visit well worthwhile undertaking for anyone visiting or just passing through Robertson.
