Great for a picnic and cold bottle of wine while taking a river cruise. Great deli and well priced. Only comment is that some of the front of house staff could do with smile. Other than that it was well worth the visit

The children had a blast because they can just run around on the grass whilst mom and dad have a quick look around and then a picnic lunch...

Enjoyed very nice wines. One man band supplied te necessary atmosphere next to the river. I strongly recommend the place for a lunch with wine.

I enjoyed the deli which included gourmet snacks like "chocolate salami" and fig preserves, fresh bread and creamy cheeses. Wine tasting is completely free. The boat cruise is really good value for money because it is a 50 minute cruise. You can buy food and wine from the deli and enjoy it on the boat. This farm is kid friendly... More

This is a great family outing. Especially if you plan to do the boat trip. Remember to book in advance.

What a perfect way to spend an afternoon! First we were able to taste some of their wines, then put together our own custom chosen picnic from their well stocked deli. Then all aboard the little floating barge for a relaxing cruise up & down a stretch of the Breede River. After the cruise we relaxed in a shady patch... More

We visited the Viljoensdrift Wine Farm two weeks ago & this really pumped up our spirits of our girls-weekend weekend! Relaxing on the river with a picnic basket filled with goodies right from their deli & a few bottles of vino, resulted in great relaxation & silly fun! We sat on the upper level for the ferry & this trip... More

OK, so the food is fine - after all, deli food is deli food. The Single Vineyard Pinotage is to die for. But WHAT ON EARTH leads the proprietors to believe that an amplified voice and electric guitar (plus drum track) makes for an enjoyable Sunday lunch on the beautiful banks of the Breede River? Happy Hour from 4pm to... More

Relaxed boat trip with picnic lunch. Deli caters for everyone. Platters are good and so was the grape juice. Lovely afternoon spent relaxing and listening to music.
