In reality there are several Lookouts for great views of Hout Bay and it's environs. I would recommend doing the Chapmans Peak Drive from the Noordhoek side towards Hout Bay. There are a few lay byes on the left side after the peak and heading down towards Hout Bay. However there are two large pull offs with plenty of car parking and also toilets and picnic tables which on a lovely sunny day give absolutely spectacular and glorious view of Hout Bay, the beach and it's back drop and the surrounding area. I could spend all afternoon here admiring the views which in my opinion are some of the loveliest in Cape Town and that is saying something.…

The lookout is off Chapman's Peak. it affords a great view of Hout Bay from a bird's eye view. It s an excellent spot for photos.

Stopped at the lookout for a few picturesque shots, and really enjoyed the views all around. The mountains meeting the ocean is simply gorgeous!
