This place was cold, uninviting and lacked atmosphere...disappointed.

Grand Provence is one of the must see wine estates in Franschhoek. Cosy tasting room, beautiful art gallery and formal sculpture garden. We did not eat at the restaurant, but looks good. The wine was very good and bought a gift in the little shop....More

But the staff are clearly overwhelmed, though friendly but unable to cope.
The explanations were hurried and short, obviously wanting to get it done and move to the next order.
We are at the restaurant there expecting a nice meal. I have to say most of the dishes we ordered were mediocre at best. They strive to make an effort on fusion type of cuisine, but the final product results on pretentious rather than delicious.
