Lovely way to move around Franschhoek between various wine estates. Staff (from booking - to drivers - to tour guides) are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. There are various routes on offer and you can stop at all the stops on any route or fewer should that be your wish. Pre book lunch on one of the estates to turn... More

Lovely way to visit different wine farms and stop off for lunch on a farm of your choice. Have done it on 4 different occasion and have had lunch at a different venue each time. You do not have to worry about drinking and driving.

This is a great way to get around some of the wine estates when you don't have a designated driver. We did the blue route one day and the red route the next. All of the wineries we visited had something about them (you can manage 6 or 7 of the 8 or 9 stops per line) and you'd struggle... More

Great day out, very well organised and offers the freedom to go to as many or few vineyards as you like. Two complementary tastings but the others are not expensive! We loved Rickety Bridge and the chocolate pairings!

We used the Tram over 2 days... the first day was fabulous & we went to lovely wine estates (Blue line) & the second day less exciting & scenic farms (Red line). On the second day the tour was a bit over booked, which was a little unpleasant.

Great value for money and means you can drink without worrying about driving! Good fun, but make sure you wear layers in case of winter/spring visit!

Did a wine tram with a 12 and 14 year old who dreaded the idea but soon loved it. Visited 4 on our trip and had a great time. Polite and friendly staff have clear instructions. Would recommend.

This is a very reasonable priced way to spend a day visiting up to six wine farms and staying on the right side of the law by not drinking and driving. The tram itself only runs between 2 farms and the rest of the trip is in small buses. Wine tasting is very reasonable eg Rickety Bridge was R10 for... More

Got to visit some lovely venues and amble around in between thanks to this tram. The staff were the best. They went out of their way to accommodate our late arrival and ensure we had the best experience.
