A thoroughly enjoyable experience from the some of the earliest cars ever built to some of the mean machine that grace our screens or streets today. Well worth a visit where you can have a rich history lesson. A word of advice: maybe display information to all exhibitions in the museum. We went past quite a few that didn't have... More

If you like old vintage cars this is the place to go. Lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon. Situated in 4 buildings within easy walking distance from each other . You can experience a trip in an old car if you want to. Highly recommended, even if you are not a car fanatic as the old cars are beautifully... More

We passed this museum after our visit to Boschendaal and turned around to go and visit. I have never seen so many beautifully restored and maintained cars. What a fabulous collection. A very well laid out exhibition and I'd highly recommend it.

A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours spent at this attraction. It is well laid out, with generally enough space to see all of the exhibits, and to read about them. The cars and other motoring memorabilia are well maintained, and a good cross-section of motoring history. In due course, additional things like video displays of some of the racing cars... More

I was amazed at the range, age and quantity of cars on display. What a treat to spend a few hours looking at cars through the ages and remembering some from my youth. So wonderful to have this lovely collection here in SA. Really fun for young and old.

My wife and I made a long overdue visit to the museum, and I was not disappointed! I've been fortunate to visit a number of motoring museums in Europe, and the Franschhoek museum is as good, if not better! If you love cars, and can really appreciate vintage and rare machines, pay them a visit, you won't be sorry.

A very interesting walk through vehicular history. The time, effort and expense of such a collection becomes apparent as you read the story of each car. The setting is stunning and some tasty goodies available at the shop.

We came across this Beautiful Private Museum quite by accident and decided to stop. We were so glad we did! The grounds are lovely as well! The collection of vintage, rare and unique vehicles is housed in four different delightful buildings. Each car is a stand alone piece of art. All have been lovingly cared for! It was a joy to... More

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience in the most beautiful setting. Even if you are not a classic enthusiast you can not ignore the magnificence of these old masterpieces. I would certainly recommend a visit to this museum. You can spend thirty minutes there or three hours marvelling over the grandeur of these luxurious works of art.
