The roads to and in the park are good. Access to the viewpoints is easy due to the vast network of walkways, steps and viewing platforms. The views of the falls are spectacular. Enjoy a nice cold drink in the restaurant after your excursion.

The access paths to the falls are modern and wheel chair accessible. Make sure to drive into the park as well. Allow another two hours at least. The four view points are incredible. I enjoyed Ararat the most.

We have been to Augrabies Falls a few times, first when we were on honeymoon and a few years ago when it was in flood. Powerful and memorable forever

As a wheelchair ramp is provided I was able to see the falls but it was very heavy going for my poor husband as he had to do all the pushing. We made it though and what a lovely sight. The viewing area for wheelchair...More

From the Park camp you can do a easy comfortable walk to different lookouts of the Augrabies Falls. If you drive further into the Park, there are different other lookout points with great views of the Orange River deep below.

What a scenic stop, I am shocked it is not more popular. With Rock Hyrax and Endemic flat rock lizards (platysaurus), the wildlife and the falls here are totally worth a part of a day at the least. We were there in January when it...More

This is so beautiful and the walk is very nice but when you go in summer be sure to wear a lot of sunblock as the temperatures can be outrageous and there is no shade on route.

Stunning & dramatic arid landscape bisected by the Orange River and crowned by the Augrabies Falls! Our group arrived at the National park by river having spent the morning rafting with Kalahari Adventures. We climbed out of the River Canyon and walked to the main...More

We had so much fun at the falls, would love to see the falls in full run in normal circumstances. The drought is having a major impact on river levels, nature and absolutely every living creature.

Absolutely stunning scenery and hundreds of rock dassies which were great fun to watch early morning and late afternoon. However the falls were the highlight and the park has built walkways to several superb view points. It was good to see that there was excellent...More

I travelled JBG - Mokala and then onto Augrabies and loved it. The only problem is that I don't think you've got long enough to enjoy Mokala. I stayed for three nights and then moved onto Augrabies for just two nights... More
