Now this is a “sight” that you might want to skip or better not even take the detour to Augrabies as there is really nothing to see at all. The entrance fee you pay and the endless unnecessary speed-bumps before reaching the waterfall do not justify what you will see. Okay, somehow it is interesting that there is a waterfall... More

If you are a nature lover you will enjoy the Augrabies Falls national park. The falls are the centre piece of the park and are worth the trip alone as they are a sight to behold. Children will enjoy the park also as there are dassies everywhere you go and they are quite used to humans so you can see... More

Great campsite and amazing views. Nice clean ablutions and an added benefit of a well stocked shop. Lots of swimming pools which is a huge relief in the heat!

When we visited, the falls there was not much water falling due to the dry period. However, we found this NP very interesting. We made a tour with the car and were amazed about the beautiful nature. The landscapes varies a lot and there are very nice spot for stunning views. We also some quit some wild animals’ incl. the... More

The Falls was beautiful, but nobody ever speaks about the parks' other amazing scenery! Ararat view point and the Echo Corner simply took my breath away! The landscape in the park is very diverse... desert areas that changes to black rocky hills to massive gauges then almost savanna like areas... was pleasanlty suprised! Huts were really neat and clean, would... More

My family enjoyed the time we spent at this establishment, the drive in the park was awesome seeing animals. We also dined in the restaurant, the food was excellent and the staff was friendly and very helpful.

Rundown accommodation, Rundown Main reception/restaurant area. Its a good place to go and do as little as possible. One cannot complain about the views and the reserve its self.

We ended our holiday in the Arid regions of South Africa at the Falls. The park is well run and well kept. The water flow was very low as it was in the dry season, but still very good. Park facilities are excellent. Well maintained chalets and very welcoming swimming pools. We also took a drive out to some of... More

We used the park to sleep over from our trip to the fish river canyon and were booked into one of the newer chalets with a view in the direction of the waterfall and were impressed with the good and clean facilities. The on site restaurant was good and we enjoyed dinner and breakfast there.

An oasis in an area of drought; excellent room, delightful birdlife flitting around, cooling and welcoming pool and food good without being great. All in all a cut above what you might expect in an area far removed from almost everywhere - except Augrabies Falls!
