After a long journey through the valleys and over mountains we arrived at the Augrabies Falls National Park. At the reception there were two assistants, we were the only guests checking in, but they were both very busy on the computer. We had to ask who is going to help us. Not a good sign for customer relations. We were... More

The entire country was experiencing a serious drought and, as a result, there was not much water flowing over the waterfall. However, this did not distract from the sheer beauty of the rock structure that surrounds the massive ravine through which the Orange river flows. It is amazing to see the effect the flow of the water has had on... More

Lovely restaurant. Well looked after park with nice neat walking trail. Not much water at the falls but was good to see and enjoy a cold drink on the deck

Due to the drought the falls was not very full, but beautiful non the less. The walkways neat and well done. The surrounds are stark , moon rock very interesting and the view from there is worth the walk even in the heat. The campsite was a little "tired" but very clean. Unfortunately the monkeys make a nuisance of themselves... More

We had arrived during a low rainfall time at Augrabies. But the view of the Fall is still breathtaking. Absolutely amazing scenery and atmosphere. The trails leading to the Out-look posts are well maintained and easily accessible. The Gorge trail is about 2km, but also a definite hike for sight seeing. Along the route expect to see Klipspringers, Dassies and... More

Small falls good view points, enjoyed the hiking trail and the moon rock. If you are not going to do one of the hiking trails then you only need an hour at most, hiking trails take 3 hours+ there are several options. Only saw a few animals, beware the monkeys they are very bold!!

This was a dream come true. The lookout points are well kept and easy to walk on. The waterfall is magnificent although the drought caused the water to be low. The restaurant served very good meals at affordable prices but the Curio shop was very very disappointing. No curios but shelves full of groceries for the guests. The roads in... More

Due to lack of rain for months the water level was low. However, still impressive. Good Visitor Centre with clean facilities.
