We took four teen boys to go crabbing and kayaking. The staff was courteous and helpful in teaching the kids how to work the crab traps and kayaks. We caught about 10 crabs. If they are a certain size you can keep them. There is a sink and tools to help with crabbing. Buckets are $5 extra. We went on a weekday so it was not super busy. Kayak rentals were for an hour which was a perfect amount of time. Restrooms are port a John’s but they were clean and convenient. I’d go back in a heartbeat. It was a fun time.

I rented a stand up paddle board and had to return it shortly thereafter because a large group of people rented wave runners and the wake was too ridiculous to be on a paddleboard. I paddleboard at least 1 - 2x per year and consider myself not to be an expert but definitely average. Even though the wave runners had there own section it was not far enough away for the sup'ers to enjoy their experiences. Unless you are a super experienced sup'er you might have a hard time getting up on the board here if the wave runners are in operation in large groups. Besides that disappointment everyone was very nice at this establishment.

I am a very experienced PWC driver so for me the constraints of the riding area were a little frustrating, but I am impressed with the care given to safety by Lakeview staff. This is a very fun activity but can be quite dangerous - the video, the instructions and the chaperones in the riding area were very much focused on safety. The downside is the riding area is pretty small and the only real option is to ride in a loop. Also, the riding area is a bit congested with other boats and dangerously inexperienced paddle boarders. We had a good time though. The parking lot is small but we found a spot on the street. The waiting area has umbrellas so it wasn't too hot to wait in the sun. They have a vending machine for drinks. And they are efficient at loading and unloading the watercraft so there is not a long wait between groups. They take fun pictures for purchase.
