Saw something on the Web about this, so my wife and I signed up and went this morning. We had a great time! Sam, the manager, was friendly and very interested in our satisfaction. The entire staff couldn't have been more helpful. The food was excellent. We both had the lobster and shrimp omelet—I've never had a better omelet. Each car on the ferris wheel had a table with white linen table cloth and napkin. Elegant and fun. What a great way to eat an outstanding breakfast-150 feet above the ground with a jaw-dropping view. They only do this Saturday, Sunday and Monday in late July and August. If you are staying in the Cape May area, try to schedule this adventure.

We first saw this on the Travel Channel. I think the program was called Unusual restaurants or something like that. Anyway, my husband saw it and called me into the room to watch. Right then we decided we wanted to try it. It was February but we called anyway because the website said they only do it for a short time in the summer and we waned in. Turns out you cannot make reservations until May. So on May 1st, we called and made them for August 2. This was the weekend we would be in Cape May and Wildwood is right up the coast less than 10 minutes away. You choose your breakfast when you make your reservations so all is basically ready when you arrive. They seat you in a Ferris Wheel car (enclosed somewhat) and convert it into a table. They bring you bread, water and other things. Then your breakfast arrives. I had a Belgium Waffle with blueberries and strawberries on it and my husband had a shrimp and lobster omelet. His also had home fries but because he is fussy, he stopped eating them when they cooled off too much for his liking. Then when other guests are seated in their cars (they seat 4 cars at a time) the ride starts and goes about a quarter of the way up where you stop so they can load 4 more cars. This continues until all are seated and served. By this time you have traveled almost all the way around, gotten some terrific views and pictures of the Wildwood beach and have had your breakfast. But it is not over. They continue the ride like a regular Ferris wheel ride and then you come off. They whole experience ( and it is one, not just a ride or breakfast) lasts for approximately an hour. This has been the most unique place we have ever eaten by far. Go and enjoy it. Remember, just a short time. Usually during August.

Purchased online tickets for Breakfast in the Sky, Attempted to go into the link to make reservations (online only, no phone reservations allowed) only to get finished with my selections and nothing saved - then every day thereafter, for the next 3 weeks, the site remained down. All email inquiries to Morey's went unanswered. Thank goodness I purchased the tickets using my Amex card - they investigated (Morey's didn't respond to them either), and fully refunded my card. Beware!

What a fun experience. You must make reservations and purchase tickets in advance. There is a waiting area before you enter the Ferris wheel that serves breakfast drinks. Once on the Ferris wheel, your table is set, including flowers, tablecloth, and a cloth napkin! An ice bucket includes bottled water and a carafe of orange juice. The food was hot and delicious! Our family ordered four different entrees and we were all pleased with our choices. Con - the only thing I can say is that the hot water for tea was stored in a container or taken from a machine that had coffee in it and not being a coffee drinker, I could taste the coffee flavor in my tea. Would this stop me from enjoying this experience again? No way, I’m hoping to be able to get reservations for next year! Don’t miss this!!!

Lucked out on managing to grab a reservation for this during our last minute get away weekend to Wildwood.
As soon as you know you're coming out here, call and make your reservation. They only run for about 5 or 6 weekends each summer.
You have a yummy selection of breakfast items to choose from. You make your selection when you make your reservation.
You are greeted by friendly staff and immediately offered coffee, tea or any number of juices and coconut water.
When your time for boarding arrives you are shown to your gondola. White cloth tablecloths, china and silverware wait for you. Your table is set, with flowers, water, carafe of juice and carafe of coffee. A basket of delicious breakfast breads with fruit preserves and butter finished it off. Then your breakfast arrives nice and hot!
You're given a telephone number to call in case for some reason you need to get out of the gondola. Then your off! The car moves slowly before stopping for your first of three stops. Breathtaking views and lovely ocean breeze make the experience wonderful.
Your ride is about an hour. You are still for most of the ride, so you don't have to worry about spilling anything or getting sick from the motion.
Highly recommend.

The taste and quality of the food was average but the view was great. A bit expensive and once you've been there I'm not sure you'd want to spend that much again. A novelty at best.

Wow what an experience!!! totally loved it!! It was so romantic!! The views from the wheel are out of this world.. The service is amazing. The food was ok, but totally worth the 1 hour ride. Definetly should be done once in a lifetime.
