This theaters are on the small side but there are many of them so the choice of movies is always good! Most of the time you can buy your tickets on line and there is a machine in the main lobby to print them out. Do THAT if it is a rainy day because you will NOT get a seat! We went just this week and many movies were sold out on a sunny day. Check on line for food deals because we all know how expensive popcorn can be at the movies! …

The neon sign is still there, but the theater with a screen so small that you'd be better off staying home and watching a bootleg copy of the movie filmed by someone's cellphone is gone.

My grandmother use to tell us to look for the Strand and you will know where the beach unbrella would be. I have fond memories of that sign. We did go to the movies when we were older. It's a comfort to still see that sign. Don't ever take it down. I'm 60 years old and I pointed it out to my 8 year old grandson on Wednesday. I love you Mama.…
