I recently visited the Seaport Aquarium. The owner, Brent, took us on a very informative and pleasant tour. He was visibly passionate and caring for all the wonderful creatures that he has on display. A great destination for kids, families, schools etc....

I rated this place a three only because it is small, and doesn’t have a vast array of animals/reptiles or things for teens or young children to do. Now, with that said and out of the way, I wouldn’t necessarily count this place out as a place to visit; it is NOT a total write off. The staff is friendly, there are some very cool animals in there, and you can learn a lot about the ones they do have, and even feed them! They do have a small petting tank, and a store connected at the end as well. But, to me personally, one of the coolest things about this place is that a lot of their animals are rescues, and they actually have rescue signs and explain how and why they were rescued. So, take the good with the bad and know that this tiny little place is doing a LOT of good for these creatures and go visit! After all, it gets you out of the sun for a little bit too, right?

Nice little aquarium, and right on the boardwalk. Not very big, but worth the $8. Staff was fantastic and knowledgable. My 8 year old loved it! We got to pet a stingray and shark, feed the fish and turtles, and my daughter got to feed an alligator! The monkeys were a strange but awesome addition, super cute!

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! They do not treat their animals well, it’s heartbreaking to see the depressed, immobile state most of the animals are in. 3 fully grown alligators are kept in a tiny enclosure with a pool that’s barely big enough for one of them. The sharks hardly have room to swim. The entire atmosphere is dark and depressing, seeing the poor animals’ suffering is devastating. Those animals deserve to be surrendered to a place where they can be well kept and free.

Not typically one to complain and write negative reviews, but the accommodation in which some animals are living in is heartbreaking and cannot go unnoticed. It’s devastating so see such beautiful creatures cramped into small spaces. They are already surrounded by an unnatural environment whilst in an aquarium, the least the company could do is giving them a decent living space! These animals deserve better.

Not one animal here has anything close to enough space. The best way to see animals is in their natural habitat. The worst way is this place! Most of the animals don’t even seem to have enough room to turn around in their enclosure. Whole place is dark and sad. Not sure how it’s even legal what they are doing here. Sharks were all laying on the bottom of the tank. Alligators are in a space barely big enough for one let alone 3. Don’t go.

Anyone who can sit here and say wow this place is amazing! While ignoring the blatant under conditions these animals live in is concerning. Yes some of the staff may be great and it’s informative, but is that really what you want to show people? Animals such as the alligators and sharks live in tiny enclosures not even remotely mimicking their natural habitat. It’s really sad

Walked out of this place after seeing how small the animals enclosures are. The Moray Eel didn’t even have enough space to turn around in its tank. Most animals didn’t even move, and seemed depressed. There was talk about making the monkey enclosure even smaller while I was there. This place should be closed down. Feel really sorry for the animals

We visited this week and although it was supposed to open at 10 am - we had to wait until about 10:15 because there was only one guy getting everything ready to open (he arrived just after 10 am!). But, that's not what bothered us ... it was filthy, the animals were kept in seriously poor enclosures and obviously not maintained in proper health. I cannot believe that the town of Wildwood allows this aquarium to continue to operate .... absolutely horrible!

This place should be shut down. The living conditions for these poor creatures is appaling. I have written to PETA, the Cape May Dept of Tourism and Chamber of Commerce complaining about this place. My 7 year old stepson was shocked and traumatized by this experience. These people should be in jail for operating an exhibit like this. IF YOU CARE AT ALL ABOUT ANIMALS, PLEASE DON'T GO!!

When will they fix the negligible conditions?

What negligible conditions are you referring to? Everything in life has room for improvement. The process of making some of those improvements takes a considerable amount of time and effort, especially if it consists of having to move any of the animals safely. Not to mention major structural improvements and all that comes with that. Improvements nonetheless are being made every chance that arises. Next season I look forward to hearing your view on any changes made and will absolutely answer any questions, comments or concerns that pop up. Enjoy your Winter.

It was $9 for adults, $7 for kids and free for 2 and under I think. On the day we went, we had coupons found in booklets in hotel lobbies and sunny day guides. It was one child free with one adult . Good deal.

Hi!
Wanted to know the hours and the costs, please
During the summer we open at 9am everyday and we are open until at least 11pm at night sometimes even later. Our prices are 7.95 plus tax for adults and 6.95 plus tax for children and seniors. We do have coupons that offer reduced rates so definitely keep an eye out for those.
