The best boardwalk in NJ for families. Plenty of parking for a fee which is a good thing otherwise you’d have trouble makers. So much action from one end to the other and always upgrading. No place like the Wildwoods !

Wildwood is very diverse, the north end of the boardwalk is quieter with less walking distance from the boardwalk to the ocean, whereas the center of the town is for those families that want to spend their days on the beach and their nights entertaining young children on amusement rides and games. Wildwood Crest offers some resort beaches for those that don't walk a few blocks, plus the longer distance from the boardwalk to the sand. This is one of the most diverse towns along the Southern Jersey Shore.

A must visit spot when going to wildwood or cape May . Board walk is fun. And it’s a very long boardwalk. So many shops and eateries around . There are also adventure zones and water parks in this boardwalk . The only issue is - it’s insanely expensive . Very very costly to go to rides and most of the food stalls. There were some stores which had some nominal stuff . Kids had fun though . Nice time and good memories .. parking is a nightmare and expensive too. Better to park off in your hotel (if you have one) or park it in side streets with ParkMobile app.

The nearly 3 mile long boardwalk is a beauty to behold. The continued boardwalk replenishment is well worth the effort. The piers are a wonderland of rides and the variety of shops and restaurants can appease all tastes.

Through the last 20+ years that I have been coming here, I don't think the boardwalk has changed very much. There are many stores, food places, and roller-coaster here, which makes for a great night to multiple nights. You can get to the boardwalk from Wildwood Crest or North Wildwood by walking on a pathway that leads right to the boardwalk. There are also tram cars that go from one end of the boardwalk to the other. It costs 5 dollars but is worth it. The boardwalk is good for people of all ages and if you have a day or two in Wildwood, I would recommend you check it out!

Buy the Tram Ticket for $13 for the day. WELL WORTH IT there is over 3 miles of boardwalk currently and you can hop on and off all day until 5 pm. It looks like a carnival, but don't let it fool you, the Boardwalk is full of really good restaurants and bars as well. Fireworks on Fridays. Lots of free concerts around town. Parking is a commodity and expensive. Make sure to stop at Douglass Fudge. Over 100 years in business. Take the DooWop Tour and go to the museum. Lots of info on the orginal WIldwood. 85 minute private tour with guide. Tons of rides including the HUGE ferris wheel. Adult & kids love Wildwood. Historical area + some of the best beach in NJ.

It's huge! If you have small children bring a wagon or stroller. So many places to eat. If you start at the far end, the attractions start about mid-way through. Water park, amusement park, mini golf, aquarium and tons of food. Make sure to ride the tram car because the little kids love it.
