Seaport has been renovated and has a wonderful exhibition floor that is great for the young and the old. Props and historical displays great. We were there for a New Years Day festival and in the "historical house" they had free scone and tea and home made cucmber ice cream available. Short talk of these foods at the time. Very... More

We have visted the Seaport many times over the years. It is a pleasant destination for an informative afternoon.

Just a short drive north from Atlantic City definitely try to stop in to see this recreation of a historic seaport town and museum. Plenty of things to see and look at and certainly if you want to shop

Simulates a small Baymens Village, complete with lighthouse, documenting the history and culture of the South Barnegat Bay area of NJ. There is also a very nice Exhibit by Jacques Cousteau National Estuarine Reserve on top floor of visitors center. Concerts, festivals, classes on local folklore and skills run throughout the year. 1/4 mile loop walk through maritime forest. Excellent... More

Mariner history of the bay area and the people who fished, clammed, and harvested oysters in this area. Good for kids, a real hands on learning center. Check the schedule, there are often carvers and other artisans doing demonstrations.

Have been here for several events from Food Trucks to Haunted Seaport. Always a good time in a clean fun place. This years Haunted seaport was the best ever.

We are members and enjoy all the events held at the Seaport. We especially enjoy the Food and Beer Truck events. I love they have events throughout the year. I look forward to us being able to attend more in the coming years.

Maintenance. That seems to be the problem here. Don't blame Sandy for what appears to be a lack of basic maintenance. An orange plastic construction fence is what is used for the "children's maze". They should be ashamed calling that mess a maze. It would take a few bucks for some PVC pipe to create a real, stable and fun... More

Don't waste your time. I live near, have gone each summer since 2001. I tried to like this place. But it's boring and the people who volunteer and work there are not nice
