Passage Theatre Company produces shows that are socially relevant and artistically terrific. This is a very small theater (seats 105 people) which provides an engaging experience. The shows are all thought provoking, and take on topics that you won't find elsewhere. (Racism; growing old; autistic children) But they are also entertaining and very creatively done. The Mill Hill Playhouse is owned by the City of Trenton, but Passage Theatre Company, a professional, equity theater in Trenton since 1985, effectively manages and books the space. If one of Passage's productions is on, run don't walk to the box office. It's really one the best small theaters in the state, and the quality of productions is extremely high. DanceSpora is the resident dance company that partners with Passage, and their productions are also fabulous. The Trenton Film Society also uses the space to screen movies.…

what a beautiful area, the playhouse is very cute and comfy. it was clean and I am glad that they help the ARC of Trenton, NJ to put on shows yearly.

Unique space tucked into a little corner of Trenton. Wonderfully diverse performances not available anywhere else. Great value...membership is a must. Parking is complicated but worth the complication. I love the Oscar nominated documentary shorts and the original plays. Check it out!…
