Cattus Island County Park is fantastic. There are various trails to hike and a great museum exhibiting various flora and fauna of the local area. The workers are very knowledgeable about their subject matter. There is something for everyone.

Park is awesome. Great paths to walk, playgrounds, great center with animals, reptiles, and a bird feeder area that attracts different birds. Also along Bay so beautiful photos can be shot. Offer classes too, a lot geared towards kids.

Lots of trails with many that lead to small sandy beaches. Lovely to walk/run in the winter. Summertime, be prepared for lots of flies and ticks!! Really avoided it during the tick season. Otherwise well maintained.

Yes the environmental center. There are also some deck lined trails into the estuary area. Most main trails are hard packed dirt in the dry seasons.
