Along with the Old Dutch Parsonage next door, this building reflectsan important part of American History, as Gen George Washington was headquartered her during the Revolutionary War. Very Highly recommended.

A historic place that can often be overlooked. Definitely try and visit during a special event such as the October History Weekend - they will have costumed volunteers and possibly even a cooking demo.

They have excellent programs illustrating the history of this region during the American Revolution including talks, bus trips and re-enactments of events at various times during the year. All are well organized and interesting.

Had a great time visiting. Beautiful houses and architecture. Fantastic, informative tour guide. We visited with our 12 year old daughter. She enjoyed it as well.

The Wallace House and the Old Dutch Parsonage are definitely worth seeing. History buffs will really appreciate that they have been preserved for the viewing of modern-day visitors. Make sure you check the times when they are open if you want to go inside.
