I walk the Bridge almost daily and it is obvious there are two sides to the Bridge. The Somers Point Side and the Ocean City Side. I believe the cut off for each is the turn into the fishing pier. While the Ocean City side is always clean, the Somers Point side is the total opposite. The Ocean City side... More

We discovered a free boat launch next to The Waterfront Marina last year which is now the favorite spot to launch, whether fishing or skiing. There is also a fenced pier to fish or crab.

This is a no brainer. If you have the chance to walk, ride a bike or drive over this bridge it is a joy. There a bathrooms at the welcome center - and if you ask nicely at Circle Liquors (who do have nice prices compared to 34th street). Highly recommend.

This bridge is amazing! The view from both directions is spectacular. The welcome center offers a great view as well. During our trip several different species of birds were nesting. We couldn't get enough pictures of the view from the bridge.

My wife and I count the people on the bridge on any given day, during season. Memorial Day to Labor day is the season and my record is 149 people. Men, women and children, even a few 4 legged creatures. Runners, hikers, bikers, families w/ strollers, fishermen and just sight seers. Obviously, the designer of bridge had forsight to think... The lights on the bridge at night are so pretty. The views are stunning and the bay breeze is wonderful.

I really enjoy the view of the bay and there is plenty to do around there. If you like to walk, park on the Somers point side or ocean city side and walk the bridge. Beautiful view and some great exercise.

This is a beautiful area for many reasons. It can be accessed by many shore and mainland communities as well as other tributaries for free. You can also see many shore birds as well as osprey. Bring your kayaks or jet skis to see the marshes and your boats for some dockside dining at Tuckahoe Inn or the Somers Point... More
