Being a self taught photography buff knowing how to touch up pictures is important. We all hear how PhotoShop is the main program to “fix the flaws” but knowing how to use PhotoShop is another story. I was very excited to see there was a virtual Princeton Photo Workshop to teach the basics. The class was small but I realized my classmates had more knowledge than me and took other classes. Alan Kesselhaut, the instructor quickly put me at ease and responded to all my questions and made sure I did not get lost. Am I an expert? Far from it but I am comfortable enough to try things without losing my original photo. I received both classes on tape I can use to review over and over again. Alan also made sure we know he is available to answer any questions or to help when we get stuck after the 2 sessions were over. I will definitely take additional courses and if Alan is teaching one it will be on the top of my list.

Had a great time at the High Line/ Hudson Yards! We took photos at the vessel at sunset, perfect timing for amazing shots. Josh did a great job of explaining tips and tricks that were super helpful! Great to get another perspective while shooting.

One thing I love about Princeton Photo Workshop is how eager the instructors are to ensure students have a great experience. Josh Weiss, our facilitator for The High Line and Hudson Yards field trip, patiently explained the agenda for the day, gave us tips on street photography and encouraging and supportive. As a result, I came home with photographs of which I can be proud. Thank you!

The Live Event Action Photography course (online) was packed full of great information. Instructor Steve Brazill is highly knowledgeable and did a great job of passing on information in a way that made learning from him a breeze. There was great interaction with the small class and the review of the practical exercises was a positive learning experience. I would highly recommend Princeton Photo Workshops (and in particular those with Steve Brazill as the instructor) to anyone looking at improving their photography.
