This is one of my favorite South Jersey breweries. It’s a great spot for after work happy hours, or just hanging out. They have a great selection of draughts, and a nice bottle shop and apparel store. The place is huge, so they can accommodate big groups. They offer to rent out rooms for private events and parties, but there always seems to be plenty of space, including a nice outside seating area with patio space heaters. I’ve always found the service to be very pleasant and helpful. Cheers!

Double Nickel is superb all around. The brews are fantastic and there is a wide variety to choose from. The facility is huge with plenty of different spaces to hang out including a bar, and a patio. Board games are readily available for your group to use should you need an activity to help occupy the time. The patio also offers cornhole to those enjoying the fresh air. While there is no food offered on premises, there are plenty of menus around for you to call and order from a local restaurant. The brewery has partnered with a few which makes the process a breeze.
With so much variety, feel free to talk to any staff member for some assistance. They're all very nice, knowledgeable, and willing to offer their opinion and assistance.

We went here for a birthday gathering of about 15 people. We like the concept walk in and grab a seat. However allowing 2 dogs in the establishment is not very sanitary. They aren't site dogs soooo leave them home!! Wow they have a lot of beer but it was hard for us to find one that didn't give u a nasty after taste. I think Vienna was the only one we could tolerate and that was rough too. It's great u can bring food in too. Sad it closes so early so we had to regroup at another spot to really get what we want to drink. This place is good for ppl that like beer and beer is life But we won't be back the dogs def were a turn off.

Went to Double Nickel after work last week. Just started a new job in Pennsauken, so I was there for more than just beers. I’m getting to know the area and my new co-workers. Now I’ve been to several brewery’s and after the third or forth I started seeing a pattern. I started to notice the similarities in each, so now I hope for something different and unique when I walk through the door. And I don’t mean that these places need to reinvent the wheel or discover cold fusion. I just mean that maybe it’s time for these places to stop trying so hard to be something they are not.
What I mean is that all these places try so hard to be really cool and different that they end up all being the same. And this isn’t really a slight against this place. Because honestly, I had a great time. The bartenders were great, very fast, friendly and informed. The bar and the entire seating area were spotless. The beers were great, and the prices were within reason.
But nothing about the place jumps out at you. At least it didn’t for me. Industrial chic decor, chalkboard beer list, slightly edgy staff and quirky tee shirts for sale. And they nailed all these concepts. And did it with a smile. So it’s hard for me to say I didn’t like the place, cause I honestly did. I just wish I didn’t already know exactly what I was walking into before I got there.
I wish this place the best. I hope they are successful. I will definitely be back and have already told people it’s a good spot to grab a drink. But they have a lot of room for improvement because there is so much potential here. In the mean time everything they are doing, they are doing great. So hopefully they just keep getting better.

Please go for the tasting and do the tour. This place is so clean and cool looking! The owner is always there with a smile. They have some amazing beer. My favorite beers there include the ones that were aged in Bourbon and Whiskey barrels for many months. I wish they had some food there but they are not doing that right now. Hey maybe you could have some food trucks in the parking lot in the good weather? Will be returning no matter what. Every out of town guest we have wants to visit this place. You must go!

Even though we are normally hard cider drinkers we really enjoyed several of the beers that Double Nickel had on tap. Really loved their pie o my sour and their grapefruit ripe beer. The brewery was large and airy with a fun filled atmosphere, friendly staff and comfortable tables.

The Double Nickel is located in Pennsauken NJ on the on ramp to Rt 130 South from Rt # 73 going East. They offer quite a large variety of their beers to sample or consume, all of good quality. It is a nice rendezvous spot for travelers and locals. The one drawback is that they don't serve food but you can BYO or call a local pizza place to delivery. Tables for eating are available.

Came here to try a flight of brews. Four to a flight we had the Laid Back, Vienna, Double Nickel and the Pilsner all of the brews were deserving of two thumbs up. We loved the relaxed atmosphere, there were munchies on the bar and there were a choice of games to play. Will be back again to try another four.
