My wife is disabled and for months 1 of the 2 elevators in Garage B at the Westfield Garden State Plaza in NJ has been out of service. Today Both of the elevators are now out of order. This is a safety hazard and should be a crime against the disabled.
We are sending formal complaints out to multiple organizations as this is a violation against Americans with Disabilities Act
You own the mall and you have had months to fix the elevators but chose not to most likely to save money.

This is directly for apple store. Many of them are incompetent and very lazy. Didn’t want to any way try to help me with my Apple Card issue. If my phone is being repaired obviously I cannot do what I need to do to help myself. I simply requested help using my Apple Card while my phone is being repaired…… in their apple store. Bunch of bird brains! And they are racist!

My husband and I decided to go the the Plaza especially after being in lots due to cold weather. First a movie then a walk around the mall and finally dinner at Grand Lux always delicious.

We had to go there today to have my glasses fixed and it’s a crowded nightmare. If you’re looking for simple shopping you won’t find it here. Crazy crowded!!

Garden state Plaza is one of the largest malls in the country. In addition to such flagship stores as Macys and Lord & Taylor, there are many other great places to shop, like Northface, Timberland, and Godiva. there is also a 16 screen movie theater with stadium seating and IMAX shows.

I'm not a great fan of shopping in general and thiw mall made it worse. Too much people, too much noise, limited personnel to help you.

You can easily spent a few hours here and walk around, but the shops are pretty standard for any mall. It has a couple of nice restaurants (not only the food court) and in New Jersey you save the sales tax for shoes and cloth!

I have been coming here for years. Several years ago they added on a luxury end of the mall with very high end shops. It is quite an ecletic mix from shopping at H & M, Old Navy and then Neiman Marcus, Gucci, Louis Vuitton. And yes Tesla has a store in the mall. Don't ask how you test drive.

Is it possible to get there on a bus? We are seniors and could not cross busy streets unless they are pedestrian friendly.

Yes, get any NJ Transit bus that goes to Paterson, or take a Paterson-bound jitney from the George Washington Bridge Terminal on 175th street.

I'm thinking of going there for my birthday. Probably staying at the Holiday inn. How far is the mall from the hotel. Walking distance? Or is there a shuttle or taxi I'll have to take. Thanks in advance.

The mall is located between two major highways and is not walkable, although it is near the Holiday Inn on Route 17. Check with the front desk about a shuttle or other alternative, possibly a local cab service.

Hi myself and my 23 year old daughter are going to New York in October and we were wondering if it was worth our while taking a trip out to Westfield as she is very interested in buying bags and clothes and we were wondering if it was cheaper to shop there rather in New York. Many Thanks.

The big saving by shopping in New Jersey over New York is that there is no sales tax on clothing in New Jersey, so you save about 8% on everything wearable, including shoes.
