Waitress was delightful & food was good! However, they charged a cover even though we were only there to eat dinner. And worse yet, although we thought we would enjoy listening to the DJ music, we had to sit through a loud obnoxious auction/fundraiser... we couldn't hear ourselves talk! All the customers around us were complaining, and so was the wait staff. We were happy to find that a live band was scheduled to start at 8, but unfortunately that was delayed due to the fundraiser. I complained to management, asked for our cover charges to be refunded, and his response was "Sorry, the band will be starting soon". So service-minded! We left soon after the band started. I won't be back!

Great food and atmosphere however very disappointed when deciding to take family and dog for nice dinner on the deck. The website under "FAQs" clearly states that PETS (not service dogs only) are allowed on the exterior of the Sand Bar (deck). We were denied entrance and after showing the website information to the 2 workers they apparently talked to a manager (which never came to address the situation) who told them to tell us no. This took place at 7 pm on Monday June 21st. After seeing today a Facebook post on the Seaport Pier site of "Duncan" (a dog) waiting for Richie and Callie to play live music really pissed me off as I was willing to accept the "no" website is wrong answer. This actually created a family dispute because we planned on going here for dinner because of the dog and then had a hard time going somewhere else because of having the dog.

This spot is easy to ride your bike to. It's at the end of the bike path, and you can park right outside the restaurant.
There's definitely plenty of room, with a beautiful indoor bar and many outside tables. We were happy with the service, as we were quickly seated, and our waitress was attentive and kind. We were also pleased with the entertaining live band, the cold beer, and the delicious mixed drinks.
On the other hand, the food needs a lot of work. The appetizers came out at the same time as our main dishes. The spicy chicken sandwich was edible, as well as the Baja Bowl. The salmon on top of the bowl needed seasoning, not even having a little salt. The Bang Bang Shrimp Taco was disgusting. The entire taco was drowned in the sauce, overwhelming every ingredient in the taco. It was one big mush.
I would come back for the location, entertainment, and drinks, but I will make sure to eat somewhere else.

Very disappointed in the Dive Bar. The restaurant menu posted outside the venue looked very appealing, so we decided to stop in for dinner this evening only to be met
by security at the door asking us to pay a $10 per person cover charge to listen to a band we never heard of. All we wanted to do was have dinner. If I wanted to stay and enjoy the entertainment and the cover charge requirement was made public on their web site I would not have complained; however, since we were unaware of the fee prior to our arrival, we opted to take our dinner business elsewhere.

Good music but LOUD! Unfortunately we did not stay, it was a cluster f$$$ at best. The guy at the entrance had no idea what bands were playing that weekend, or even that night. When I went around the corner to check the board, the guys at the entrance knew nothing about the band for that night, nor what time they were starting. We paid, went in.. only to find out we need to check in at a second gate to get a table( after asking a waitress if we could sit at a particular unclaimed table). Then hostess told us they had no seating.. B. S. and that it it would be a 20 minute wait.. no thanks!

First time here Bobby the bartender was awesome the slow cooked pork was beyond compare. We sat looking at the ocean and really enjoyed this experience. Walked to the ocean and sat there for the rest of the afternoon. Our new favorite spot. Thank you Bobby.

Great food and service. Was outside dining and they were able to accommadate our 10+ group. Very pleasant setting. The tables were socialiy distance and servers wore masks. The prices were reasonable also. Our appetizers and food came within a reasonable time.

We took the shuttle to your place awesome idea. Had a great day for the string band palooza. Food was very good and place was clean. Very nice waiteresses and bartenders. Cant wait for next year!

The bartender and waitress were rude. We asked him to turn a specific sporting event on one of the many TVs and he said No! Sat at a table and was going to order drinks first and the waitress came over and said "I have people that want to eat right away so you need to get up". I asked to speak to a manager and she did not get one. I will never go back and spend one penny at this place!

This pier is a place where there is live music and it is a fun times for all. Very lively. And the crowds are usually fun and energetic.
