Recently renovated and much, much improved. Looks beautiful. New Prudential Tower adds to the scene. Lots of activities during day time. You will still see homeless people here and there but there is a lot of security.

I was here in March and they had an event going on a parade for St Patrick's Day with music and food vendors and other things to buy. What a nice day

The Park is being improved upon all the time. The spectacular statue in the park is surrounded by a floral sword. It is beautiful.

Having suffered a cancelled flight I had 8 hours to kill in Newark so caught the bus from EWR to Penn Station and had a walkabout. Penn Station is an 1930's Art Deco station but is in need of some TLC. Nevertheless less, worth a wander and imagine what it looked like in it's heyday. Walked up toward the downtown... More

Military Park has undergone a huge transformation. It has bistro chairs and tables to eat and chat. It offers different activities so make sure to look at the schedule from movie in the huge screen to concerts

lots of new things to do here! play chess, sit and get something to drink, look at the flowers and the impressive statues. A safe respite in the city, with guardians supervising the seats , games, etc. a nice grassy center to the city!

Cool park on Broad St. Well maintained and clean, nice to relax and hang out at. There's a good view of the Newark skyline from here as well. A new restaurant opened in Military Park called Burg recently if you're feeling hungry. Aside from that, not much going on but this is exactly what you should expect from a park... More

I work across the street of Military Park -- beautifully renovated, safe park. The best to walk around in during the summer!

Small and fine place among the business skyscapers in Newark. It looks pleasant when you take a short break during the workday and come there to chill out. Employees of park is really friendly and funny. You cand find a book corner and get a book/fresh newspaper to read.
