Played tennis in this park with my high school tennis team and skated with our hockey team in this park as well, back in the late 60's. Now its a perfect setting for urban life with all that has to offer. Keep your eyes open if you find yourself in this park. Especially after dark.

the park is clean, small but still has a variety of views: lake, trees, and birds, all very close. It has inside a roller skating center, very affordable, but it has very loud Music, almost disturbing.

Branch Brook park was one of the first parks many Italian, Irish, Polish and German immigrants called home when they settled in North Newark. Cherry Blossom festival in April brings back these generations. An award winning designers from Central Park era. Visit with care. The neighborhood around is changing, use care and common sense.
