We drove 1 1/2 hours to get here because I wanted to walk a llama so badly! It was worth the drive. We were greeted by Bev who is the llama's mom and she first showed us the chickens. I got to hold the most friendly chicken and this was also a thrill for me. Never in 62 years have I gotten to hold a chicken! Bev introduced us one by one to each of her llamas. Some are older, some are young, some are super tall, some are shorter. One thing they all are is very cute! Each has it's own personality and she likes us to meet them all so we can decide which one we'd like to walk. Let me tell you, it is a difficult decision. I ended up going with Clemente because he was older and Bev said follows your lead perfectly. I did not want to yank on a harness with my torn rotator cuff. After we each chose our llama, we went into a field to learn simple commands. Bev explained everything very clearly and it's not hard at all. For the most part the llamas are eager to take the walk and just follow one another along the path. They are tempted to lower their heads if there is something edible along the trail. You just say firmly "Walk Llama!" and they start walking again. It is so much fun to walk along with a llama and to be part of the group. The trail is a beautiful path that leads to a lake. Make sure to wear sneakers or boots. The ground is fairly flat, but with sand and some softer spots. You will step over several logs but no problem with the llamas. We went in early March and it was super windy in the field but not so much along the trail. The temp was in the 50's. I love walking in cooler temps. We were a smaller group, just my husband and I and a mother and daughter. Bev led us with her llama. My husband is 6'7" and was still taller than Eduardo, one of the tallest llamas. We got to the lake and Bev takes a photo of you and your llama. It is such a great keepsake. I also took some photos and even a short video. After a few pictures, we headed back to the farm. Bev fed the llamas hay and they were excited to eat their treat. Clemente was smart and laid down on top of a pile of hay to keep for himself. I hated to say good-bye and hope to return again some day. Bev is willing to share her knowledge and love of llamas. There is no feeling of being rushed out the door. The two hours goes quickly and is worth every penny.

What a wonderful and unique experience. Bev was awesome. She took her time to introduce you to the chickens and even hold one of the beauties. She gives you so much interesting information. Everyone gets to meet the llamas one on one and goes over each of the llama's personalities. I was so impressed with how she took such care in this regards. It made everyone feel at ease and was so respectful to the llamas. The walk was of course really nice and we all got to take a bunch of photos with each other down by the lake. I would highly, highly recommend to anyone.

I arranged a trip for my daughter's girl scout troop (early teen girls) to Bev's farm. What an experience! First, Bev was extremely easy to work with, patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Her llamas have the same qualities and are well cared for. The barn and grounds are clean. (The llamas are "potty trained"! ) After learning about her farm and meeting each llama individually, the girls got to take them for a walk to the lake (about 1 mile round trip). They were calm and well behaved. The girls loved taking "selfies" with their llamas. They couldn't wait to tell everyone about their experience. I highly recommend visiting Bev's farm.

Our experience with Bev and her 5 friendly llamas was pure pleasure from start to finish. Our family of four was greeted warmly and she gave us so much information about her five llamas and their individual personalities. We also got to meet her friendly chickens (Gilda loves to be held!) before being matched up with the llamas. Led by Bev, we each walked a llama through the woods to a gorgeous lake (great photo op!) and back. The llamas are loving and sweet. It is clear how well Bev knows each one. We loved watching her interact with them. We are 100% Team Llama! I would highly recommend a visit to walk with Bev and her llamas through the woods. * Usually the llamas vacation in the summer when the woods are buggy and too hot, but we were lucky enough to get a cool, cloudy July day. We will be back to visit in the fall!
