On Saturday afternoon, we had a wonderful experience touring Burlington City, New Jersey. This was our fourth outing with Audrey Wiggins, owner and tour guide for On the Town Food Tours. The Burlington City tour was a special offering, in part as a fundraiser for a local museum, the Armed Forces Heritage Museum. The tour began at the museum. We then proceeded to a local coffee house for a tasting and a brief talk by the owner about coffeemaking. We had terrific pulled pork sandwiches at The Union House; perfectly made fried chicken and waffles at Taste of Soul, where Ms. Nancy greeted us all personally; and then delicious lobster ravioli at Francesco's. In between there was a walking tour of the town and discussion of its history. Hopefully Audrey will be able to add Burlington to her schedule permanently, to complement her other great tours (we've done Bordentown city, Hammonton, and Mt. Holly). There was a total of eight people on this tour and we had the chance to interact with everyone. This was another great experience and we look forward to booking the next one.

Thank you to Audrey for a very enjoyable food tour in Haddonfield! It was great to be able to experience samples of good food from a variety of cuisines including Asian, European, and the Mediterranean along with stops at a local craft brewery, chocolate shop, spice and tea shop, and bakery. Having representatives from each of the businesses greet the group and give some personal insights into their food and beverage offerings only added to a very informative tour that included Audrey sharing some of the important history of downtown Haddonfield and its oldest buildings as we walked from one stop on the tour to the next.

Hats off to Audrey for a well-organized, well-run, and enlightening (both in terms of food and locale) tour!

Great time tonight on Bordentown, NJ food tour with our theatre friends. Audrey Wiggins owner and tour guide made the evening special! 3 restaurant stops and great walking history tour. Started at Toscano Restorante, Old Town Pub, and finished at Under the Moon Cafe’. And a sweet treat from The Candy Jar.
I never realized Downtown Bordentown held such treasures.

So I have only good to say about this day. We started out on our motorcycle as the day was gorgeous. Arrived to a yummy start at El Mariachi Loco. We made introductions, I always like when your group has people who are more interesting than yourself.. The walk was pleasant and entertaining. An added stop was to BreadHeads (love the name). A perfect blend of Hammonton's food offerings. Funky Cow Café where the sandwich was all but "funky". Tales of the Olive is a wonderful place to explore and purchase gifts. Annata Wine Bar with their oh so comfy chairs. We ended with coffee and sweets at Casciano Coffee Bar. Our guide through this deliciousness was Audrey the owner and operator of OTFT. She was personable and sweet. Will do this again in a heart beat. Thanks to Audrey, Jane and David x2 for a great day.

Hello! I am so happy that you enjoyed our walking food tour. You are right, food tours are a perfect way to enjoy what a town has to offer in food, shopping and history. When the tour is over, you will know which restaurant, bakery or shop locations you'd like to come back to with family and friends. Happy eating!

Highly recommend taking this or any of the food tours offered by On the Town Food Tours. Thoroughly enjoyed our day with Audrey and new friends tasting some specular food from Bordentown restaurants. You will not walk away hungry instead will have learned some remarkable history of a small town. A must thing to do.

On the Town Food Tours are a great way to learn about the small towns in South Jersey. We had not been to Mount Holly before, but on our tour we learned that the community has existed since the late 1600s and was a the site of a Revolutionary War battle. There are a few buildings left from colonial days, and now the town is the home of many quaint shops and restaurants. On our tour, we sampled huevos rancheros, freshly made soups including a refreshing blueberry soup, an empanada, beers from a local brewery, New Jersey wine at a local art gallery, and homemade ice cream. Also, Audrey, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. We look forward to exploring other South Jersey towns through On the Town Food Tours.

My wife and I signed up for the Atlantic City tour for a Saturday afternoon. The guide, Audrey, was great. She took us to several local eateries and around the Ducktown district of Atlantic City. We met with several people and proprietors of some of the stops, which was a nice touch. The history that some of those guests added to the tour was worth it's weight in gold. I, myself enjoy hearing about the local history of a place like that. The food was excellent at each stop. It was a very well done tour with a great mixture of food, facts, and fun people. Would highly recommend it as a fun thing to do while you're in town.

Thank you, Russell! I'm so glad that that tour was enjoyable and that the food, history and speaking with the owners were so on point. It's everything we strive for on the tour. I hope that you'll be back on another tour with friends and family. Thanks again, Audrey

I had a lovely time on the Bordentown Food Tour. The restaurants were great, the food was amazing and plentiful, the tkrestaurants' staffs were informative and Audrey's commentary on the historical significance of Bordentown was a nice addition. You will leave having made new friends, wanting to have dinner at each restaurant and registering for more On the Town Food Tours--and you won't be hungry for two days!
