Lots of fun
It was my wife and my first time doing an escape room. It was challenging and a lot of fun. Their was one button that did not work, which one of the hosts had to disrupt out challenge to fix, and at the end, it was just an expectation - but when we got out, there was no sign of finishing other than a host entering and letting us know. However, we had a great time and will go back.

Fun with friends!
We worked on the Lost Record room. We finished pretty quickly but there were 10 of us. The clues were pretty challenging and we enjoyed the fact that there were rooms within the room. It’s fun to do with friends and everyone was able to take part on their own way. It helped to have a little bit of music ability for this one but it wasn’t totally necessary. Very fun! I’d like to go back and do another room, maybe this time with fewer people so that there is more for each person to do.

We suck
Sadly we had to be rescued... we came for my daughters 16th bday... it was nice seeing 7 teenagers working together without their cellphones in their faces for an hour.. we will definitely come back. The staff was great fun.. we had a great time!!

We were lumped in with another group which was fine considering our group only had 3 people.. my main issue was we finished the rooms in about 40 minutes which was 1/3 of the time we paid for and that was it. It's like you do well and you get the opposite of a reward for it. I paid almost 100dollars for 3 people and 33 of those dollars worth of the time we paid for went un used and un compensated. There should be a system in place where if you finish in a certain amount of time you get a discount on your next visit or something along those lines. The experience was fun but feel like it wasnt worth the money for the 40 minutes we spent there

Too easy

Room was too easy. We tried calling the whole week prior to see about getting the hardest room, but no one called back. When we got there the guy told us before hand “o yea this is the hardest room.” But when we got out in under 40 min including us taking time to socialize and goof off, he was like “so I lied about this being the hardest room...” like seriously it was a pointless lie to tell and left a nasty taste about spending our money there again. We will not be returning and feel we wasted our money going at all.

Not worth the money

They put my group in a room we didn’t pick. It took us 45 min to get out of one room and by the time we got into the next it wasn’t enough time. At the end the lady told us it was the largest room there and only a 10% escape rate. Clearly they have that room to just take people’s money.

Great place to have fun!

It was our first time in an escape room, and everyone was so kind and helpful! Our game master was Phillip and he did a great job of guiding us when we needed some hints. The owner Christian even let us try a new portable escape room, and it was such an exciting experience. We will Definitely be going back!

Fun time

We enjoyed our time during Crusader’s Alley. Easy check in experience, friendly staff, and Olivia was a great game master. For our first escape room it was fun, just anti-climactic at the end - maybe play some music or something to signal that the room was complete rather than the game master running down the hall and swinging open the door.

waste of money

for 30$ per person, this escape room is overrated. i don't know how, but apparently my group got out in less than a half hour and there were multiple puzzles not solved. we had the 9pm slot and it felt like the employees just wanted to leave. i even asked for a walk-thru on how the room worked and got a

Can't Escape Excitement

Amazing is right this place was awesome from the door. First the staff makes you feel at home and shakes any of your nerves away. Second what they pack into these room is astounding. Me and my family did the Crusader's Alley and we loved it it had super heroes and it was just breath taking and exciting for not only the kids but the kids at heart too.

These people really, really care about immersing you in this experience and honestly it blew my socks away!

I tried an escape room once before but I have to say that Case Closed at Amazing Escape Room Montclair was so much fun. Even though we didn't escape we had so much fun trying to figure everything out. I don't want to give anything away but you'll be challenged in a fun way and definitely get surprised :D I'm excited to try the other rooms and can't wait for the Forest to open! I recommend this place for anyone, all you need is curiosity and an hour to spare!
