Boyle's is the "Cheers" of Monmouth Beach. Super friendly bar staff and owner. It's been around forever and a great place to go if you're looking for a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. There's a pool table, shuffleboard and a golf game (I think). They also sell take-out package goods. Definitely a great place to gather with friends.

No food, just drinks and old fashioned bar atmosphere. It's an old school bar with not much seating, but a cool bar if you can get a seat. Love the shuffleboard too! Good place to meet friends for a drink.

What is this I see? A bar in Monmouth Beach hidden behind the police station in a residential neighborhood? There is no sign on the bar? What is its name? This is the best bar in Monmouth Beach but you have to first locate it. You could drive or bike right by and not recognize it (thankfully there are some beer signs in the building windows that help identify it as a watering hole for the thirsty traveler). You will find no food here, except perhaps some Beer Nuts. But you will find a fine selection of craft beers on tap, the longest shuffleboard table in the county, a pool table, multiple TV monitors, and classic rock playing in the background. Pull up a stool at the old-school bar and relax. Behave yourself or you run the risk of being banned from the bar for life, and that would be a shame.
