Nice short walk of 10 minutes to see this pretty walk. Very easy. And then you can do Calle du lys in an hour
Critical. Despite a security barrier to prevent people from approaching the waterfall, they pass by and stand one or two meters away to take selfie and Instagram photos.
What is the town hall waiting for to really condemn access and not a simple mobile barrier?

There are a number of walks starting from the car park in the Vallee du Luys. We were hoping to do a loop including the cascade d’enfer but somehow missed a turn and ended up backtracking. The signage en route and the maps weren’t much help. Nevertheless it was a beautiful walk through varying flora, with spectacular views of the waterfalls.

It's a lovely waterfall, the drive up gives a view of the whole cascade, and you can walk up to it from the car park in 5 minutes
On the way down, a lovely cafe awaits.
The only downside is that there is an EDF hydro electric station close by, which rather spoils the remote beauty. This is mitigated by the interesting information boards showing the hydro paths and function.
We followed this by a drive up to Super Bagneres ski station, a few cafes and a great view.

The name sounds scarier than it is! We went on a lovely hike with the most beautiful sights, especially the waterfall from hell that could be seen from different viewpoints. Some people also brought their dogs. Most of the pathways are shaded, so although it was hot, it was still doable. We had our picnic where most people sat down to relax in a huge ravine where a stream passes through. It was the only spot where it was a bit chilly. The cold water offers a great relief for tired feet. I can definitely recommend this activity! Mostly because I simply love the Pyrenees. You just cannot be disappointed.

The area is magical and unpopulated leading to sublime delights in unspoiled surroundings like these waterfalls beyond Bagneres de Luchon.

Very nice walk to do with the family. Not too difficult a walk for little walkers. The waterfall is superb.

Breathtaking view! Simple accessibility even with children. The downside is the paid parking.
