There are a number of walks starting from the car park in the Vallee du Luys. We were hoping to do a loop including the cascade d’enfer but somehow missed a turn and ended up backtracking. The signage en route and the maps weren’t much help. Nevertheless it was a beautiful walk through varying flora, with spectacular views of the waterfalls.

It's a lovely waterfall, the drive up gives a view of the whole cascade, and you can walk up to it from the car park in 5 minutes On the way down, a lovely cafe awaits. The only downside is that there is an EDF hydro electric station close by, which rather spoils the remote beauty. This is mitigated by the interesting information boards showing the hydro paths and function. We followed this by a drive up to Super Bagneres ski station, a few cafes and a great view. Great morning trip
