Ran on to this beach during a recent visit. Turned north towards Atlantic city (didn't get that far obvs !). Under a pier and then along more beautiful empty sand. Apparently it's VERY busy in summer. This was September but still hot. Visit then if...More

Nice, clean beach. We found parking 2 blocks away, not bad for Labor Day weekend. There are lifeguards, strolling refreshment vendors, trashcans not too far away. Wasn't overly crowded. We had a great time with my sister and her family who live nearby.

In addition to the Municipal Bldg. to purchase beach tags, the Bloom Pavilion behind the Margate Library, at the beach and Huntington Ave. may still offer them (M-F, 10A to 3PM). But first call 609-822-2605 to confirm this.
