Algonquin Theatre has gone through many changes throughout the years. Today, it is a wonderful performing arts venue. The chairs have all been replaced for the comfort of the theatre goer. There are some great shows , and very reasonable prices. A treasure for Manasquan.

WE get big stars come through this small theatre. I saw Patsy Kline with Sally Struthers in it recently and the place was packed. After the shows the stars come out font to talk with the guests.

We went here to see Miracle on 34th Street. The theater was a nice size. Parking was easy. We didn't park in a lot, but on a side street. They sold popcorn, candy, and drinks, but we passed on those since we went out to eat before the play. The production had a pretty large cast for a smaller theater.... More

Saw "Always , Patsy on 10-1-15 - great show, great casting... I've seen several plays here over the past few years...always better quality that I expected. Puts a lot of Broadway Theaters to shame.

Have seen a couple of shows here, and it is always a great time. Staff is friendly and helpful and the ambience is that of a classic small town theater. Reasonably priced, and comfortable new seats, make it a pleasure to see anything here. Also, Manasquan itself is a charming town with several pleasant dining establishments along the main street.... This local theater has been putting on some wonderful productions the last few seasons and has a growing reputation among its followers. I recommend you check out its web site to see what is being presented this summer. Tickets can be purchased on line or by calling the box office. This little theater (500 seats) is a jewel on the... The Algonquin has been the New Year's Eve venue of choice for our group of friends for several years, and rarely disappoints. The change in management a couple of years ago has produced positive results; more comfortable seating and a fuller calendar of productions.
